An archer for the Elf King's army of Elsian. When Vlad and his Guardians pass through Elsian, Valandur's fiance,Aletha, listens to their tale and expresses her interest in helping them, she joins the group as a Guardian. Valandur does not hear about this until a day after she left. So he goes in search of her into the Woods of Illusion where she is serving as their guide. When Valandur finds them, he learns that they have gotten lost in the woods. Enjoying the situation in his arrogant manner Valandur leads them out of the woods and joins with Aletha.
Valandur is extremely arrogant and extremely deadly with his bow. There are few marksman that can match him. His close combat skills are adequate enough to keep him alive, but he relies on warriors to keep enemies at a distance. Throughout his endeavors he is constantly trying to impress those around him, especially Aletha. With his haughty attitude towards life Valandur wonders what is so special about Vlad and is one of his largest doubters. Some day he may realize how is attitude affects others but that is not anytime soon.
