Biography

Syndor is probably the greatest evidence that the prophecy has come true. For he is bound to Vlad, they are brothers, while Vlad has one eye of a dragon, Syndor has an eye of a human. Giving more proof to the fact that they are what the prophecy speaks about. As a dragon Syndor is a feared being, most people have not dared to go to the northern mountains, where the dragons have lived on Breala for thousands of years. He has been somewhat revered or feared by other dragons as well. The Dragons have known about the prophecy since it was made, most have forgotten about it, but those that still remember do not know what to think. If it is true then their glory may one day return, but what that could mean for them is their greatest concern.

Syndor receives the same premonitions as Vlad, and they are able to communicate with each other telepathically. Since Dragons speak telepathically, Vlad is the only human who can communicate with them. Meaning Vlad and Syndor will bridge the gap between humans and dragons. Feeling Vlad's presence near, Syndor goes out from his home to meet them. When he first gets there, the Guardians get set for defending Vlad and others almost attack Syndor. It isn't until Vlad calls them off that he and Syndor first realize they can speak to each other.

Joining the group Syndor poses a great problem for Vlad and his Guardians, how can a dragon travel with them through human lands? The Grand Wizard, expecting their arrival, gives Azure Kerensky an amulet that can transform Syndor into human form. Now with the ability to walk as humans, Syndor travels with the group throughout their journey.

In his Dragon form, Syndor is a very dangerous being, however as a dragon he is still vulnerable to magic and weapons. Because of this he is much like Vlad in his fear of what might happen to him, and what his future would require of him. He does not wish to have the responsibilities forced upon him. Though feared throughout Breala Syndor would most likely fall to any great warrior brave enough to challenge him. Dragons do not have the invulnerablility they did thousands of years ago. They cannot cast magic, fly, breath fire, or have armored scales. Much like Vlad, Syndor is a liability and must be guarded by those stronger than him, especially in his human form. Whether he will fulfill his destiny and bring glory back to his kind is yet to be seen.
