Under Dante's tutelage, Nuthos learned all the secrets of summoning. But it wasn't long before the Demhar found Nuthos and attempted to capture him. Dante and Nuthos fled from the Demhar, but Dante was too old and could not continue on their flight. During their escape Dante died, he entrusted all of his tomes of summoning to Nuthos and told him to seek out potential summoners to train and pass on the knowledge of summoning. Realizing he would never be safe on Aknor, Nuthos fled to the island of Breala.

On Breala Nuthos lived in seclusion perfecting the art of summoning. He was a frequent visitor of the Grand Wizard on the Crystal Isle, always looking for potential summoners. When the Chaotics invaded Breala, Nuthos knew he must help protect the island. To keep himself safe and for the safety of the DragonEye, whom he had been told about by the Grand Wizard. He chose to make his defence at Fort Aknoll, the closest fortress to his home in the Woods of Illusion. Less than a hundred miles away from Chandrille, where the Chaotics had made their base, Fort Aknoll was sure to fall into the hands of the Chaotics early in the war. However, the power of Nuthos held back the Chaotic army for thirteen years. No Chaotic army ever stepped foot inside the walls of Fort Aknoll. When the arrival of Vlad came, Nuthos had given the Guardians a foothold into Chaotic territory. A place where they could strike at the very heart of the invasion.

Nuthos has a deep hatred for the Demhar priests and their Chaotic hordes. He will never surrender to their might. His immense power gives him the ability to lay waste to entire armies. A power that is greater than the Grand Wizard himself. He is a man of deep secrets, and does not share his thoughts openly with others but remains kind and thoughtful to most people. For most of his time on Breala, he has lived as a hermit in the Woods of Illusion. His skill in combat is fair,but it is unlikely that he will ever need to use it. As a Guardian of Vlad, the Demhar priests will have to find a way to neutralize Nuthos for any chance at victory in Breala.
