A knight for the High King Davnon Arnsday and Head Mage for the forces of Chandrille. Minos was ordered by the high king to flee with his son, Vlad, and go into hiding until he was ready to fulfill his destiny as the Dragoneye child. The Castle of Chandrille was about to be attacked by an unknown force(the Choatics) and it was necessary to get Vlad to safety before the force arrived. Leaving his own family behind, Minos took Vlad far to the north, into the kingdom of Agamar
For 14 years Minos kept Vlad a secret under the guise of a farmer and his grandson. All the while preparing him for the day of the dream, when he would be able to fulfill his destiny. He taught Vlad much of the ways of magic and some basic skills in combat. He never took Vlad much outside of the farm, and always made sure to cover Vlad's eye when in public view. His thoughts dwelt much of his own family, but he remained bound by his duty to protect the one who could defeat the Chaotics and end the invasion.
When the day came of Vlad's dream, Minos felt they should make their way to the Crystal Isle and meet with the Grand Wizard. The apprentice of the one who made the prophecy. First they would need aid for the journey, so Minos planned to see the King of Agamar and request his help. Many perils will befall them throughout their journey, but Minos will allow no harm to come to Vlad, the future depends on it.
Minos is a graduate of the Mage Academy on the Crystal Isle. For many years he has served the High King as one of his knights. Minos has fought through many wars under the king's service and has attained the rank of Wizard in the Magical Arts. His skills at melee combat are mediocre, but have degraded due to age. But because of his mastery of magic, it is rare that any foe could get close enough to attack. Bound by the oath's of knighthood, Minos' devotion to duty rules over all his decisions. There could be no greater guardian for Vlad than Minos.
