Kyruss is a wolfman from the Midtoll woods, south of the dragon mountains. As for all male wolfmen, Kyruss must go out of his home and seek out fame and glory, enough to return home and be worthy of recognition as an adult. Kyruss was on his way south when he came upon the Guardians being ambushed by hired assassins. Using his stealth and speed he dispatched them from behind before they could react. Grateful for Kyruss' assistance and directed by Vlad's premonition, the group he rescued allowed him to join in their travels as a Guardian. Seeking his fame, Kyruss accepted without question.
