Azure is the apprentice to the Grand Wizard. He specializes in attack magic, mainly with the elements. Born from the Elf/Human City of Javole, which serves as a port to the Crystal Isle, becoming a mage seemed like the most logical choice. He has excelled at learning the magical arts and believes he is one of the best ever.
When told by the Grand Wizard to await Vlad and the Guardians in Javole, Azure is sceptical that Vlad is even the DragonEye of prophecy. He greets the group and serves as their guide and host on the Crystal Isle. Vlad's premonitions singled him out as a Guardian. So he was then ordered by the Grand Wizard to accompany Vlad throughout his journeys.
Azure is the best mage in the Academy, short of the Grand Wizard of course. He specializes in attack magic, which makes him a deadly weapon in combat. Considering himself the Grand Wizard's greatest apprentice, he is somewhat jealous of those who the Grand Wizard seems to favor more than him. Nuthos is his rival and he doesn't enjoy the special attention given to Vlad. He is one of the Guardians who seriously doubts Vlad is the chosen child of prophecy, from what he has seen so far he has yet to be proven wrong.
