Can Love Return Too...?

The pain of having lost a love...
The angst of not knowing if it was, after all, the one, the only - and the disarray of knowing that it was most probably your fault that it did not come to fulfill all of its potential... Such is the threefold burden of he -or she- who has loved and lost because he would not give it all he had to give, plagued by the doubts that now come automatically with modern relationships. And what to do then - what to do? Live on... Move on - as if nothing ever transpired?
One cannot - one can definitely not simply forget the magic moments when two souls reached out to one another and connected so exquisitely. One cannot live peacefully without knowing for sure if these two souls were not truly predestined soulmates indeed. If what separated them was nothing but the wrongest of reasons - and if, truly, they are meant to be together, forever. One simply must know - for not knowing is suffocating. Not knowing is worse than that - it is worse than death. And there is nothing worse, nothing sadder, than to be resignated to utter the words "it might have been"...
If there was betrayal, it can be forgiven... amended... forgotten. If it cannot, then there is nothing that can be done. But if it can... Love can return. Stronger than before. Stronger than it ever was - for it has survived an important test. Lovers quarrel... Lovers part. But the love likely never ceases to exist. Thus the love can return indeed - return to its former glory. Return and never go away this time - for no reason - for no one.
If there was no more -and no less- than a monumental bit of miscommunication, then, by all means, nothing is over and it has legs to go on still for a long time to come... Forevermore, dare to hope the romantics! Hopefully, not to further miscommunicate but really to conciliate it all - once and for all... Forever and for always... And to build on that something that cannot be broken ever again. To accomplish this, one must finally explore thoroughly what intangible barriers -that should not be- which have prevented these passionate feelings from being fully explored, time and time again... An effort shall be consciously and actively made then - and nurturing this new endeavour is essential henceforth.
~ Let the love return - let the love truly be this time...
Give it a true chance.
Let it not end inconclusively.
Let Love - True Love - return to thy hearts... And to thy souls.
