Heidi, Me, My Bro Ethan |
From 1986 until 1990, I lived near Frankfurt, West Germany
Courtesy of the U.S. Air Force and I enjoyed it immensely.
While I lived in Germany, I had occasion to travel to Thailand
where I spent a whole 5 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed myself.
The next stop, after Germany, was Clark Air Base, in the Philippines.
I arrived just in time for a 7.7 magnitude earthquake, followed by
the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo, nearly a year later. In spite of this, I still
consider it to have been a posh assignment. After leaving the
Philippines, I returned to the states and lived in San Antonio, Texas.
After Desert Storm, I deployed to Saudi Arabia, in support of RC-135
Rivet-Joint Flights and Operation Southern Watch.
I feel very fortunate to have had such rich experiences in the
Air Force. I hope to post more pictures soon.Enjoy, Eric Ogren
