Upon the Rain

Where in time does time reveal all

For every moment discovery is abreast

There are trees so tall

Have they ever changed their mind?

Moment by moment

The paths do filch and steal

Away with the morn birds

Which sings beyond the teal

For on and along with the breeze

Not a mind can tell

If patience could only wait and see

There are fond memories that have sailed

And when the dawn alights fortune

There are many days unknown

As for the true and the closure

Has left eyes to bemoan

Such be foolish and obtuse

Such glamour has made pursuit

There are only ties between a fall

Thus the riddance is so ridicule

And more sustain becomes disdain

In beginnings, such are all game

To take the gift as it was meant to be

Never to be touched or felt the same

I wait upon thee, oh upon the rain
