The Maiden Fruit Bloom
A peculiar sun shone rays for a week and three days
Shaken alive was the hibernated spirit from a sullen winter
I followed the zeal of the sky to the edge of the riverbed
I Always follow the company of the sun in noblest spring
Again each year I return and marvel by the sandy banks
Then suddenly the winds charged to veer off the radiance
Brought a torrent of rain and swelled the rivers full and wide
The incessant bewailing of the sky surfaced to bring a miracle
On the road home I passed a fruit tree and seen the awe
And aye! tiny blooms of pink and white did sprout
The journey has begun alas!
I have survived all the long chills of icy wintry eves
And now the glorious spring has birthed wonders of small miracles
The gardens from this day to fall shall grow; hence to capture my eye
Increase oh gardens’ murals!
Produce and flourish henceforward!
Cover your denuded land in the ravishing verdant
That I may sit beneath you and lend ears to your hushing leaves
Tokens of time I shall find among in this soft and sumptuous deity
As long as you keep your promise of spring
My eyes' serene splendor seasonably chosen free
