Roving the fall
Soon the winter moon shall surrender to the august eves
The balance calls and foresees the eminence banished
The generous breeze begins to cool and plucks the leaves
The mighty old man winter bars the colors of once adjacent blooms
Alters them shades of foggy gray
And as I plead; please don’t let here nature separate
Together as I close my eyes, you will be near me always
I will not let my summer’s affections be forgotten
Heed my strength; for remembrance of these latter days
And it is not the end I say; but a beginning
Only a short journey through vast clouds
So let us celebrate; the fall’s future together
Let us be kindly remembered
In the eyes, mind and spirit of that which we prior have danced
In the summer’s gardens of green growth
I will take an oath this day;
I will not become the chilled air plummet my light
I am virtue I say;
I will with will splendidly ally lovingness’ ease
The promise of winter is aching and distress
But my will can sway the indifference
I can live these warm months
But I can too dream through the long winter
I shall never withdrawal my surviving sword
For there are wails and hollers in the first day in January
The tamed in August where closest lied the heart
Here to bid never forgotten;
The warmth, the light and the giving
Was the one and true way
