Nodding in Wonder

White caps on river blue

Whimsically sounding atop surface rumbling

Like children playing in gambol

Loved’ to hear such abounding life

Ten thousand templars thus careening azure’s swift wife

Make no affinity, still is the way

Seek I then the rescue of the casing void

So I gather further in silence to remain

Then dancing in airs like water fowl we peacefully adjoin

Evenly I step lightly

Slow and lethargic hymns like trees do utter

Making no wildness to retreat

Remained unheard atop ever aching leaves

For the mother hears her beloved children beckon

Even from furthest of seas

Treat her as she were asleep in beauty’s rest

Rile her not from her quaint and warm nest

Let her reside in her slumber

That we may too nod with her in hours of wonder
