Among a summers eve
In one gentle noble hand
Has graced again this pastoral land
From cold dormant roots
Has vaulted mirth to soothe
Leisurely; the canopy transforms green
The ground strewn with colors serene
The rose bud is eager to again breathe
And blossoms too shall be set free
As the moors cover with daisy lace
Then the splendid symphony may weld together
And in collecting entirely the eminence
For a fine ripe splendor
The summer’s fond embrace I await with aglow
In affection's longing
Warmed to the sweet mellifluous air
Not long hence I will be and well
Lolling as were; in a brilliant dream
Among a summers eve
