Beryl was a famous actress back in the glory days of black-and-white movies. She has since faked her death and became a recluse supposedly to gain a bit of peace (though her real reason for becoming a vampire is still heavily debated). However, she is still every bit the drama queen that she was fifty years ago. Physically, she is very beautiful, and enjoys using her feminine wiles to drive men crazy. In fact, she enjoys toying with people in general. Deep down, Beryl is a good person; she just doesn�t like to show it. Beryl constantly mocks Emerald and her position, referring to be �lazy and new� as opposed to the hard-working ways of old.
