History: Jo is Chitoku's boyfriend and thus a plague to the rest of the Eartheart family. Around school, Jouka was known as a something of a playboy, and so many people are worried about Chitoku's well-being in the future. Jo dropped out of school to pursue an acting career that never fell through, and because of this (and his father's reputation as a drunk), people have a hard time taking Jo seriously. He tries desperately to impress Chi and her family, but until he finds the perfect role, his part-time job of store clerk won't make him enough money to sweep Chi off her feet. What his short-sighted and sometimes oblivious perception doesn't show him is that Chitoku loves him enough as he is.
