| lena baisden, 22, had never sung outside of the shower or the car before Lulu In Hollywood. Working for the newsroom on MCC campus in Oct. of '01, she passed a flyer the band had put up looking for a vocalist. She responded, met the band the next day, and that was that. Michael had previously been a vocal instructor and has helped her voice reach the range it now has. Currently, Lena is a student at ASU pursuing a BA in english lit. She is still a little bewildered by the concept of what kind of job to get with a English degree, but is having fun in the meantime. |

| She and Michael have been jointly write the lyrics for the music but the songs for the second album, Bedlams currently in development, are largely written by her. With her vibrant personality and steadfast focus, the band became instantly complete with her as the frontwoman. Lena lists her top vocal influences as: Bjork, Beth Gibbons, Billie Holiday, Fiona Apple, Jim Morrison, Mike Patton, Thom Yorke and Tori Amos. |
