How did this site, become "this site"? Well, I just wanted to have some sort of a hobby,and about two years ago(2001)I really needed some way to get away from my newly-born baby brother. So, I went up to the computer and decided-I would make my neopets homepage devoted to him. Of course, I still have the page but it is not about my brother but my neopet.

Then, I sort of advanced to soupfaerie.com then to animation sites and spent about a year designing animations for people(Ria and Kaajal at first then they're friends wanted one:)I had then come to a final desicion about leaving neopets,and making it by my own. I had searched around for a good host and found geocities. Then looked around for an add-free site and found freewebs.

After creating 50 files on freewebs (the max you can have as a non-premium user) I panicked so quickly moved the files to geocities. Still worried as I couldn't direct link on either of them. This worried me the most as if i wanted a freewebs pic on a geocities page then i'd have to move the page and copy the image if i wanted it back on freewebs. Which made less room. Now, 6.5 MB of my site is on geocities! Anyway, I still don't ahve things under control, not that any big crises have happened.

For about 3 months, I studied HTML until I felt confident about making this website. On that day, it so happened that I happen to win a brain-busters competion and my prize was a little bunny rabbit purse. I named her Toffie.

So that was how the site got its name,and Maple was just one of my favoured toys when I was little. I slowly worked on it for about a week and then I realised-
"This site never will be famous, unless I do something. But what?" Then I REALLY worked on it. Long hours of hard work and effort.But well worth it:D

So after I made a rough site I changed the layout just to see what it was like then changed it back. I immedietly went onto kutekitten (now star-girl.org) and went onto the how to get hits section. And as if by magic I got vistors.

My site work has been on and off lately. That's because I'm a master at loosing stuff and getting grounded, but hey, least I'm online now.
