Writing a quote can be fun as well being entertaining to the visitor, so it's worth while. But nobody wants stupid quotes – you have to make them interesting! And, of course, have fun in the progress :D
Usually quotes are done in sections – mean quotes, funny quotes, girl quotes, lazy quotes. Make sure you find a decent amount for each section – about 10-15, depending on how hard it is to find them lol. Make sure you credit your sources!
Where to get them? Friends, make them up, websites, school, the back of Snapple packs – whatever! My personal favourite is movies or books - especially if it's based on a genre that carries through the whole book.
Use bullet points or paragraphs so it's easy to read. And don't use an obsessed font lol.
Having genres is a great idea – funny, horror, love, stupid etc.
Don't forget comebacks, enemy revenge etc. But make sure they fit into the genres and are actual quotes – not reads
