| Each opportunity to show and learn something is important
for artists,and the technological search and discovery is very
challenging experience :
I'm interested in interaction of clay and different materials in the making process. The most exciting experiments for me is working with technological inconsistent materials � clay and metal(wire). I find out, that under the influence of heat, clay getting dilative in a little, whereas fire-proof wire- conversely, as if trying to move out of clay. I discovered a new coloring technique, such as dark pickle. As an interior artist too, I found that �warm� materials, such as clay and wood, make lodgment warmer, than glass and metal. Nowadays most contemporary buildings ,which are made of glass and metal are full of clear light, to make some balance our sculptures are darker colored clay. Ricardas |
