Realizing the gravity of the devastating effect of the war on our population .Noting that one of the worse effect of war apart from, of course the obvious loss of lives and properties, are the triad of: Ignorance, Disease and poverty( idp). Understanding that these �idp� normally operate in a vicious cycle and therefore breaking one of them will automatically diminish or even completely eliminate the rest of the variables. Realizing that many of our young brothers and sisters with potential and bright brain are just getting wasted in the villages and towns because they can not afford school fees, and yet these are the brains we actually need to form core back bone for the Acoli existence on the face of this planet. Given all the above and many other problems that have accumulated in Acoli land for about two decades of conflict, AEuSO had to be born. AEuSO is actually a local non �governmental and non profit making organization, formed by a group of Acoli, with the sole aim among others, to help break the vicious cycle of Ignorance, Disease and poverty among our people, by deliberately targeting Ignorance among the youths.
AEuSO, objectives among others will therefore be, to raise and also lobby for fund to help sponsor to school our young sisters and brothers who can not really afford school fees and yet they have the brain to study. Other objectives would be to create youth centre and Library, encourage documentation and writing of book (about history, culture, etc etc).
It is therefore, our high hope that people of what ever level and what ever walk of life will come up willingly to support this organization, be it materially, financially or even in term of knowledge, etc, we shall receive them with our ten fingers and pass them to the needy in our society!
