i think for a future i can see we will release the new record, but any gigs/recordings for the future i doubt will happen.

i would like to say:Hello it is luke from figure like ghost talking to you all , i decided to get rid of the previous blogs becuase i thought they were all kinda stupid, i thought also i would try and tell you what the hell is going on at FLG HQ to do this i may just review the past 12 months.
on a sunday May 2004 i started the band with david rigby(he turned up late with lots of his usual equipment) and brother joe. We made some songs, rocked and did some of the funest gigs i have ever done inside freds room(swet driping off the walls)And on the 27/28 July we recorded our first CD with sam walkerdine in his bedroom(thankyou)at the time we thought it was the best thing ever haha(you can still buy it if you want)In that summer we had a week a major practice/pictures films and house gigs which was good, we even did a beach gig.
About 13 months ago David Rigby left the band( it was then known as Embassy stoned) i dont think we ever discussed him leaving the band, i dont think it was even a formal thing , he wasnt in the band anymore becuase he decided he wasnt going to turn up to a gig(remember this) so their you go.
It was about a year ago that also i met denis and asked him to join the band. from about november 2004 till christmass the band went through various changes(which i will not go into)and i thought up the name Figure Like Ghost,so figure like ghost it was(i think i got the name when i was in english doing some coursework about some film with gangstars in)It was actually boxing day that i first tried to get in touch with dave, but i couldnt as usual. So it wasn't untill abot the the first week of feb that i decided to sort things out, i spent half a hour on the phone too him.(thats a long time for me) and so he was in the band again, he already new denis becuase we all were in the sefton youth jazz orchestra. so it was on and we all suddenly relised we were good, haha infact on our second practice our singer that was in it in like november actually found out dave was in the band, haha.
At easter we recorded our first CD together actually we were never all their at one time, so thier is only two tracks on it . dave went to china and de went some where so it was hard but we also did a gig at my house which was rubish, dave went silly mode and started singing about sex, and then my dad came in and told everyone to get out the house haha.
in July we did a preformance of a modern version of romeo and juliet which was good(but i try to forget)and we did a gig at the zanzibar club on the 3rd of july which was awesome, thanks people who came, oh and mr jolly for sellin lots of cds.We also started to plan our new full length album.
So on to the album, we didnt practice much for it which wasnt good and dave decides to mess our plans as usual haha. so on the first of august sam came round and we spent 7 days in my back room recording and 2 months doing random bits and we came up with a 9 tracks (we tried to record 9 mins but it just didnt work haha) and inbetween we did a gig on the 11th sep which was ok.
