4/13/04 RPed with Auggie yesterday. It was interesting, because it got to really show the other side of Miguel. Up until now he had not been in any situations that necessarily brought his Rage out full force. It was pretty interesting RP made up ultimately of a pissing contest between the two cubs.
4/12/04 So, now I figured I'd post another couple of logs from yesterday. I'm learning a lot more about my character through roleplay, and hopefully my RPing skills will continue to improve as I am surrounding by great RPers. I'll give a little blurb about Miguel here. I applied here a few years ago, but I got rejected, and rightly so. My RP kung-fu was weak, and the character I submitted focused a lot on just having a high rage, and wasn't very 3-dimensional. When coming up with Miguel, I thought to myself, "Self, Garou don't choose to be Garou, they were born as such.Instead of building a human personality suited to a tribe, or concept, I will build a human character, who happens to be a Garou." So Miguel was born.
He is a mixture of side of my own self, together with a lot of folks I know, but has ended up kind of dissimilar to any of the original influences. In short, he's quiet. I find if I am well in-character with him, many of my poses are just gestures instead of words. He's fairly intelligent, and very compassionate. He wears his heart on his sleeve, and his thoughts could be read by anyone who simply paid enough attention. He has a relatively high rage, 5, and as such was locked out of most all human social-circles, giving him fairly low self-esteem. As such, being Garou is both a blessing and a tragedy for him.It is a blessing because he is latching on tightly to his tribe even after so few day, as it is the first time he has had a group that could really accept him. It is also a tragedy, because a once compassionate and gentle human-being has supernatural rage boiling underneath the surface, leaving him feel very helpless. Miguel interests me, and I think he will change and grow a lot as his knowledge about who he is grows, and he his two halves become more reconciled. I think, and hope, that he will fit GarouMUSH well.
4/11/04 Well, this is like the world's simplest page ever at the moment. Hopefull it will expand in the future. Right now I just am planning to put my logs here, of which I only have 1 ATM.
