Hey, how are ya?

NAME: Tyler Byeon (or Yun Jung Byeon)

AGE: 14

BIRTHDAY: February 27th, 1990

SEX: Female

HAIR: Black, dyed reddish at the beginning of Seventh grade so it's black fading out to an orange-ish color. I usually wear it in a ponytail. When it's down, it reached my back.

EYE: Black-ish brown, I wear glasses

SENSE OF FASHION: I usually wear jeans and a T-shirt

FAMILY: I live with my mom, dad, older brother, younger sister. I have an uncle living in Florida right now, and all my other relatives are in Korea.

My Official Korean name is Byeon Yun Jung. I was born in Chung Ju, Korea, then my family moved to Seoul, Korea. There, I went to Il Won Elementary School. When I was ten years old (In Korea, you start elementary when you're eight years old), my family moved to London, Ontario, Canada.

When we moved to Canada, I got an english name, Tyler. I went to Arthur Ford Public School for fifth grade, where I first learned to speak English. Then, in sixth grade, we moved within the city and I transferred to Sir George Etienne Cartier Public School (Hence the name Sir G.E. Cartier P.S).

After I finished sixth grade, our family moved yet again, to Houston Tx, USA. I attended Spring Branch Middle School for two years, seventh and eighth grade, and now I am a Freshman in Memorial High School.

Here's a brief description of all three countries' School System.

Korea:

In Korea, Elementary School first grade starts when you are eight years old. School year begins in March and ends with a Winter vacation. Until you are eight years old, you go to either Kindergarten or a nursery. Korea's schools have Summer vacation, Spring Break, and Winter vacation. There are six years of Elementary School.

Junior High School starts after sixth grade, and has three grades. They work basically the same with Elemantary, but I wouldn't know since I've never went to a Korean Junior High Shcool (or just high school, for that matter).

High School starts after third year of Junior High, and has three grades. Like I said, I wouldn't know much about it since I never went to one.

Canada

In Canada, there are eight grades of "elementary school", which they refer to as Public School (unless it's a private school, of course). After Eighth grade, you go to Secondary school, much like High school of USA. It is similar to the elementary of USA, only most of the schools don't serve lunch. Instead, you either: A. bring your own lunch or B. you go home for lunch then come back.

School year begins in September, right after labor day, and first grade starts when you're six years old.

USA

USA's elementary school starts in September, the first grade starting when you're six years old. Canada's and USA's elementary schools are basically the same.

They serve you hot lunch at school, or you can bring your own. There are five years of Elementary, three years of Middle School, and Four years of High School.
