Lukes TR47 Fanfic Chapter V: Tacs Revenge
I wasn't sure if I dared open the letter or not.  I didn't know what to expect, so I went inside and shut the door behind me.  Michelle sat down on the couch next to me as I opened the letter slowly.  It read:

Luke & Michelle-
You may think you got rid of me, but think again.  Although I was seriously injured by the machine, I wasn't killed.  You'll both find out for yourselves soon enough.  Don't think you'll get rid of me that easy.  Your little stunt almost killed me while I was in the process of trying to kill all three of you.  This time I'm going to make sure you all die right.  If you expect me to come back at you with the same machine, you're completely wrong.  I have something that will work much more slowly than the other machine, so enjoy what short time you have left to live.  As you are reading this, I'll already be building the machine.  Good luck trying to find me.  Only one person knows the way to my hideout, and I killed them already.  Bwahahahaha!
~Tac~

<Story God: Was the ending to that letter really necessary, Tac?>

Michelle and I looked at each other.  The story god was always doing weird stuff, but he never actually added it to the story before.  We decided to ignore it, then continued on with the story.

The letter was disturbing to put it lightly.  So is the story god, but that's beside the point.  We weren't sure what to do.  We could always hide at the TR47 Underground Training Facility since only TR47 members could open the door, but what would that accomplish?  We had to get rid of Tac once and for all.  He was starting to act like Voldemort, if you know who that is, and it was getting on our nerves.

<Story God: Since the 5th Harry Potter book isn't out yet, I don't know what happens to Voldemort, but that's WAY beside the point.  Anyways, better get on with the story.>

We quickly ran outside and I almost fainted.  My Mustang was completely destroyed by a fallen tree.  I screamed in frustration, because it wasn't just my only car.  I took very good care of it, but it was destroyed now.

I walked over to my car and happened to see something in the driver's seat.  It was another note from Tac.  Didn't he ever give up?  I didn't know what to expect once again, so I opened the note and read it.

Luke-
As you can see, your car is destroyed.  I had to make sure you didn't get any crazy ideas like trying to find me, so I took the liberty of blasting a tree on it.  Good luck.  You'll need it to stay alive.
~Tac~

I tore up the note in a rage.  Tac had practically destroyed a work of art.  My Mustang was certainly valuable enough to be one.  Michelle looked around, just as frustrated as me.  We weren't about to walk to the TR47 cabin, because the rain made it muddy everywhere.

I walked back inside and picked up the phone to call the others.  The phone was dead, probably as a result of the storm.  I walked back outside and looked around.  I saw the phone line lying on the ground, broken away from the cabin.  I put on a glove and picked it up, examining it.  It was completely flat, which meant it had been cut.  Tac had destroyed my car, then cut the phone line.

I went back inside and sat down on the couch, trying to figure out what we were going to do.  Suddenly I heard a phone ring somewhere in the cabin.  I listened for the ringing, then followed the source of the sound.  After a few minutes, I pulled a cell phone out of a pile of clothes.  I forgot that I had that.

I picked up the cell phone and answered it.  It was Joey, calling to make sure we were okay.

"Joey, can you come pick us up?  We've got some problems," I said.

"Why do I have to pick you up?" Joey almost yelled into the phone.  "You've got your own car, so drive it!"

"Joey, my car was taken out by a tree last night during the storm."

"Storm?  There wasn't any storm last night," Joey said.

"Are you kidding?" I asked.  "We thought the cabin was going to fall apart because of all the thunder and lightning."

"Are you okay Luke?  It was crystal clear the whole night.  Not a cloud in the sky."

I was immediately sickened.  If a storm hadn't hit them, why had one hit me and Michelle?  Suddenly it dawned on me.  Tac had something to do with it.  I wasn't sure how, but he did.

"Joey, just come pick us up.  I'll explain later."

"Okay," Joey replied.  "Be there in a few."

I hung up the cell phone, then looked at Michelle.

"Something's up," I said to her.  "The sky was cloudless last night for the others, but it was practically a hurricane here."

Michelle gave me an odd glance, then got what I was referring to.  She knew immediately that Tac had something to do with the freak storm.

Joey arrived a few minutes later in her motorcycle, the caboose hooked to the back.  Michelle and I climbed in, then we drove to the TR47 cabin.  When we got there, we explained what had happened to the others.  They listened closely, and they were shocked and horrified by what we told them.

Joey stepped up after we had finished.

"Tac doesn't know this, but I know where he's hiding at.  I can take you right to it, but we'll need a plan.  Somehow, we'll have to kill him without anybody knowing."

I listened as Joey came up with a plan almost immediately.  She seemed to be good at that.  After the plan was formed and organized, we drove over to Kat's house to pick up a few things.

"Kat," I said, "We need some stuff."

"I know," Kat replied.  "Joey already called me.  Come with me and I'll get what you need."

"Great.  Remember those bombs you showed us that one time we came over?"  Kat nodded.  "We need a few of those."

"I think I can do that.  Let me go check if I have some."

We gathered up all the needed equipment and supplies, and carefully packed it all away.  If we weren't entirely careful, we might accidentally set off one of the bombs, causing the others to detonate.  That would be disastrous.

We climbed into Joey's motorcycle caboose and hauled all the stuff back to the cabin and put it in the Underground Facility, then went back for the rest since there wasn't much room in the caboose.  We got a map provided by Kat, because Joey had gotten Kat to help her make a map of Tac's hideout just in case.  I was thankful for this, because it would be much easier with the map.

After planning out exactly what we would do, we went to sleep.  We'd execute the plan, and hopefully Tac, the next day.  Most of us were either too afraid or too tense to sleep, but it came eventually.

When morning came, we all had a huge breakfast.  After eating breakfast and cleaning up the dishes, we got all our gear gathered together.  I knew how to rappel and rock climb, so I would place the bombs in various places on Tac's hideout.  The bombs we had gotten from Kat had a special something in them that gave them an extra kick.

To make sure Tac was actually in the hideout, we had a hacking computer to hook up to Tac's security system.  We'd use his own cameras against him.  We headed out at around 10:00 P.M. that night so that we could do it in the dark.

After searching around for a few minutes, we found Tac's hideout.  It was well concealed, but apparently not well enough since we found it.

I began making my way around the building carefully, making sure not to trip any hidden alarms or traps, or be seen by cameras.  I found a good spot and began to climb up the wall, then placed a bomb about halfway up.  I repelled back down and continued.

As I placed the last bomb a little while later, I heard a sound like an insect.  I looked to my left from where the sound was coming from, and was sickened.  I found myself looking right into a security camera.  Why hadn't I spotted it when I climbed the wall?

I quickly armed the bomb then jumped off the wall a bit too quickly, letting go of the repelling line.  I hit the ground hard, but wasn't injured.  I ran off into the trees nearby, making sure I wouldn't be spotted.  I tripped over something and looked to see what it was.  I found myself looking down the barrel of a gun.

"Hold it right there," Tac said, smiling evilly.  "One wrong move, and I'll pull the trigger."

I stood up slowly and Tac pushed me forward roughly.  He led me inside and into a cell, where the others were already waiting.  Tac laughed loudly, then left.  He had taken all my stuff from me before he shoved me into the cell, locking the door.

"It was an ambush," Jads said.  "Somehow he knew we were coming, and was ready for us.  He picked us off one-by-one."

I swore loudly, punching the wall.  Tac had taken all our stuff away, so the bombs were useless since the detonator was in my pack.

"Luke, it isn't over yet," Joey whispered in my ear.

Suddenly I realized what Joey meant.  I held up my arm, revealing the watch I was wearing.  I always had a watch on, and Tac knew it.  What he didn't realize was the fact that this wasn't my usual watch.

I began punching in the codes on the watch, using a number pad on it to enter the codes.  After punching in a few lines of numbers, I looked up at the security camera that was in my cell.  I pressed the execute key and watched as the red light on the camera turned off.  I smiled to myself, knowing that this watch was worth the price we had payed for it.

I punched in a few more codes, and suddenly a security alarm rang out.

"Crap!" I said.  "Wrong code!"

Suddenly a door down the hallway slammed open and Tac came running in.  He was relieved to see that we were still in the cell, then hurried off to another area.  I smiled to myself, realizing that this could be a good thing.

I carefully punched in the correct codes from memory, and the door to the cell swung open.  I looked to make sure Tac wasn't around, then we all hurried out.  We all ran down the hall that same way as Tac had gone.  We eventually came to a heavy door which was guarded by a scanner.

I held the watch up to it, and a computerized voice said, "Code accepted, Tac."

The door swung open and we all gasped.  Inside was a highly advanced system of computers, all controlling the security system.  Tac was running around frantically trying to determine why the alarm wouldn't shut off.  The security cameras had all been disabled, thanks to me, and they wouldn't come back on.  Tac screamed loudly and swore in frustration.

I saw our packs and secretly grabbed them without Tac noticing.  I pulled out a spare bomb, which I had saved in case of an emergency.  This was one of those emergencies.  I armed the bomb, then looked around.  This bomb wasn't as powerful as the others, so it would be safe for us to detonate it while we were nearby.  I also pulled out another bomb which was almost as powerful as the ones outside and placed in where it would be hidden.  Tac was still running around, messing with various computers.

"When I get my hands on those people I'll," Tac yelled.

"You'll what?"  I said loudly, standing in the doorway with the others behind me.

Tac spun around instantly to face us.

"How did you escape?" he demanded.

"Our little secret," I said.

Tac sneered and stepped forward.

"Catch!" I yelled, throwing the bomb towards Tac.

Tac took a few steps backwards and caught the bomb perfectly.  It didn't look like a bomb, so Tac wasn't sure what it was.

"Hey Tac!" I yelled, holding up my watch while punching in the detonation code.

"No, wait!"  Tac yelled at the top of his lungs.

"Too late for that!" I yelled, pressing the execute button.

Tac screamed, and the bomb detonated, emitting a small pop and a ball of smoke.  It was a dummy.  All of us burst out laughing, and Tac turned red in a mad rage.  He began walking quickly toward us.

"Stop!"  I yelled.  "You saw me placing those bombs outside, and it will only take a few numbers to detonate them at the same time."

Tac froze in his tracks.  He knew I was being serious, and swore for forgetting to disarm them.

"That's better," I said.  "Now, I want you to do something for us.  First, shut off the security systems."

"I can't!" Tac yelled.

"Oh, right," I said, "I'm the one that set it off."

I punched in a few codes and pressed execute, and the alarms shut off.  Tac looked at me angrily.  He realized then why the systems had failed to respond.  It was because I had sabotaged them.  There wasn't any way to shut them off without me doing it.

"That's better," I said.  "Now then, what are we going to do?"

"Do what you want," Tac replied, "because there's nothing you can do that will stop me."

I smiled and looked at him.  "Wrong answer."

I typed in a new set of numbers on the watch, and the watch began beeping loudly.  Tac could clearly hear the beep, and his expression showed it.

"That, Tac, is the sound of armed bombs ready to explode," I yelled.

A small beeping also came from underneath one of the computers a few seconds later.  It was where I had placed the bomb a few moments earlier.  Tac spotted the bomb, and began to slowly inch towards it.

"No you don't," I said.  "That's staying right there.  Consider it our gift to you for all the trouble you've given us."

Tac stopped and looked at me.  I was expecting him to have a look of fear on his face, but instead there was one of anger and frustration.  He knew there wasn't anywhere for him to go.

"By the way Tac," I said, walking up to him, "I'm not too happy that you ruined my car.  See, nobody messes with my car like that and lives."

Tac suddenly lashed out at me and kicked me squarely in the stomach, causing me to bend over in pain and gasp for breath.  As soon as he did that he was immediately frozen in place, held by Michelle and Joey's psychic powers.  They could've done that a lot sooner, but it wasn't necessary until right then.

I got up after a few minutes and looked at Tac.  Michelle and Joey released him from the hold, and he fell to the ground.  He jumped back up to face me, taking a fighting stance.  I didn't have a clue what he was thinking.

Suddenly Tac began to change form, and turned into a Black Mewtwo.  We were all horrified by that.  This was a surprise to all of us.

"A bit shocked?" Tac asked.  "You should be.  I snuck into the TR47 cabin while everybody was away and used Joey's transformation device on myself, but I turned out differently that expected."

"That's because you're so evil!" Joey yelled at him.  "It was made for normal people, not people like yourself!"

"Either way," Tac continued, "I've already become much more powerful than any of you.  I'm unstoppable!"

That was the reason Tac knew we were coming.  If his psychic powers truly exceeded our own, he would be able to clearly see the future at any time.

I took battle stance, transforming to my Raichu form.  Joey, Michelle, Dreana, and Kat all did the same, but I refused.

"This is my battle," I said.  "He tried to kill Joey and Michelle."

The others were reluctant to do it, but suddenly a large battle ground appeared out of nowhere when Tac snapped his fingers.

"Just a little something I made," Tac said.

Tac and I were on the battle ground, and the others were trapped be a special holding cell.  I faced Tac angrily.  He had let us do all of that.  I punched in the numbers and executed the detonation code, but nothing happened.

"No need for that," Tac said, "We're miles away from my hideout.  Sure, it's destroyed now, but that won't matter when I kill all of you and take over Team Rocket 47."

Suddenly my watch began to heat up rapidly.  I ripped it off and held my arm in pain as the watch dropped to the ground, smoking.  It suddenly caught fire and instantly burned into nothing.

Tac took battle stance again, and I did the same.  The others watched, completely helpless.  We were about to being the battle when suddenly I was engulfed in a flash of light, then found myself inside of the cell.

I looked out to see Kat on the battle area.  I tried to move, but couldn't do so.  The cell had some sort of psychic field around it which was preventing us from doing anything.

I screamed an anger at Tac, but he only laughed.  He hadn't planned for this, but I knew he had other ideas.  He was going to battle Kat first.

"Let the battle being," Tac hissed.

Kat was the first to attack, releasing a powerful Confusion attack.  Tac easily dodged it.  Kat tried again with a Psybeam.  Tac flew through the air and flew right through the Psybeam unharmed.  He flew at Kat and right before hitting her, he threw out a ball of electricity.

Kat flew backwards and landed at the opposite end of the arena.  She got up slowly, almost knocked out by Tac's first attack.  Tac charged up and suddenly a bolt of energy shot out of the air, hitting Kat.  She was hit directly, and fell to the ground.

She looked dead, but we knew she wasn't.  She had fainted.  She hadn't even touched Tac.  Tac threw out a Master Ball and Kat was pulled in.  The ball instantly emitted a loud ping, indicating a catch.  He had further modified his Master Balls since we last saw him.  They now could catch anything instantly.

The rest of us in the cell screamed as Kat was caught.  Tac retrieved the Master Ball and laughed loudly.  Suddenly there was another flash in the cell and Dreana disappeared.

Dreana was worse off than Kat, and Tac knocked her out the second the battle started.  He was much too powerful.  He threw a second Master Ball and Dreana was caught as well.

Mewtwo was the next victim.  He had managed to get a lucky hit on Tac, but it didn't seem to hurt him that much.  After Mewtwo was caught, Tac debated on who to get next.  The ones left in the cell were me, Joey, Michelle, Jads, and Ira.

"I have something special planned for you two," Tac said to Ira and Jads.  Suddenly they disappeared as well, but they didn't reappear in the battle arena like the rest had.  They had been transported somewhere unknown.

That left me, Joey, and Michelle in the cell.  Tac smiled, then Joey appeared in the battle arena.  This would be interesting, because Joey was extremely powerful with her psychic abilities.

Tac began the battle, and Joey was the first to attack.  She flew at Tac with her Pound, catching Tac off guard.  Somehow he hadn't expected this.  He hit him squarely in the head and he staggered backwards from the force of the hit.

Tac was enraged by this, and shot a Psybeam at Joey.  Joey deflected the Psybeam just in time, but she didn't send it off in another direction.  Instead, she formed the energy into a ball and sent it speeding back to Tac.  Tac hadn't anticipated this happening, and was struck by the ball of his own energy.  He was obviously weakened by the hit, but it wasn't enough.

He stepped forward and began to charge up an attack which we had never seen before.  Joey didn't know what to expect.  All of a sudden beams of energy shot away from Tac in every direction and began to circle around the room rapidly.

The beams began to spin faster and faster and began converging at the center of the arena.  The result was a massive amount of energy in the shape of a dagger.  It suddenly shot forward and headed right toward Joey.  The dagger of energy hit Joey and went right through her, but it's effects came immediately.

Joey fell to the ground unconscious.  Tac had done it.  He threw out another ball as I screamed in horror.  Joey was caught.

Michelle suddenly disappeared and appeared in the arena.  Tac was still weakened by Joey's attack, so Michelle had a slight advantage.

The battle began, and Michelle quickly darted to the other side of the arena behind Tac.  Once again, Tac was caught by surprise.  Why wasn't he anticipating our attacks?  He could see the future, so why didn't he know what we would do?

Michelle leapt forward and shot a ball of electricity at Tac.  It engulfed him and he staggered forward.  As with Joey, he turned around to face Michelle.  He was furious that both Michelle and Joey had actually hit him.

He began to charge up the most powerful attack possible.  Michelle and I were horrified, because if he was using the Metronome like we expected, Michelle didn't stand a chance.  Michelle took the opportunity to attack Tac with a Pound, interrupting him and breaking his concentration.  As a result, Tac lost the power he had gathered in preparation for the Metronome.

He was beyond furious now, and Michelle and I knew it.  He shot at Michelle with amazing speed, using Pound.  He hit Michelle, sending her flying backwards until she hit the wall.  She fell to the floor, then got up slowly.

She shot a Psybeam at Tac without thinking, and Tac did the same thing as Joey.  The ball of energy struck Michelle and she fell to the ground.  A scream echoed loudly through the arena as Michelle was caught.  I was the one who had screamed.  I broke down into tears, because not only was I the only one left, but Tac had also captured Michelle.

Tac approached the cell and looked at me.  I could tell what he planned to do, and nothing could prevent me from accepting.

"Ready to meet your fate like your friends have?" Tac said.

I lifted my head and looked at him.  "I'll never fight you.  You'll have to kill me to get me out of here."

Tac smiled and turned away.  "Pity.  I was looking forward to battling you.  After all, your friends weren't anything close to a challenge.  Especially that Michelle."

Tac had hit a weak point in me, and he knew it.  I stood up and he turned around to face me.

"Yes, I got your attention with that one."

I clinched my teeth and looked at him in fury.  He smiled, because he knew I wanted to battle him right then.  I sensed that something was going to happen.  Suddenly I was almost overcome by Tac's psychic powers.  He was trying to transport me into the battle arena, but I managed to block it.

"You are powerful," Tac said.  "You'll make an excellent addition to the rest of the group."

I was released from the psychic power, and Tac watched me.  Suddenly something happened that not even I can explain.  I closed my eyes and began to focus my energy for reasons unknown.  I gathered up all the energy I could and prepared to use it.  Suddenly some invisible force began to feed me with even more energy.

I opened my eyes, which were now glowing white.  Tac stepped back in fear.  This had never happened before.  The cell I was in began to rattle, and suddenly it disappeared, leaving me suspended in the air.  I floated towards Tac, still drawing energy from the unknown thing that was providing it to me.

The entire arena we were in began to shake violently.  Pieces of the ceiling began to fall, and the arena began to crumble.  After a few moments, the entire arena came crashing down around us, then disintegrated.  Tac and I were out in the open now.

Right then I heard screaming.  I looked up at Tac, and he was the one that was screaming.  He seemed to be in pain, but I wasn't touching him.  I continued to gather energy, and Tac continued to scream.  I then realized that Tac was the one I was getting all the energy from.  I was taking his own energy away from him.

After a few more moments, the energy I was gathering began to become unstable.  I then stepped back and released all the energy I had gathered in Tac's direction.

Tac was in too much pain to deflect the massive amount of energy, or even defend himself against it.  The moment I released it, a pillar of energy 100 feet wide shot thousands of feet into the air.  Tac was at the center of all that, and screamed.

The energy hadn't touched him yet, but he knew what was coming.  All of his Master Balls flew off his belt and flew into my hands, and Tac weakly reached out.  Suddenly the massive pillar of energy closed in on Tac.  The instant it touched him, he let out a scream the echoed for miles.

When the pillar of energy disappeared, Tac was lying face down on the ground.  I pulled out one of his own Master Balls and threw it, catching him immediately.  Tac was now the property of Team Rocket 47, but he was also the property of the police.  I welded the Master Ball shut, then put it on my belt.

I pulled out the Master Balls containing the others, then opened them.  Everyone was surprised to get out so soon, then they realized that I was the one releasing them, not Tac.  Somehow, Tac had designed the Master Balls to catch anything, because Jads and Ira had been caught as well.

There was one more Master Ball, but who or what was in it?  Everyone that was in our group had been released.  I opened the ball, and suddenly a Black Mew appeared.

"MAGICK!" Joey yelled.

"Magick?" I asked.  "Who's Magick?"

"I am," the Black Mew replied.

I then learned from Joey that Magick had mysteriously disappeared one day, and nobody could find her.  After weeks of searching, they gave up.

<Story God: I hope I didn't put Magick in any of my previous Chapters.  If so, things just got confusing.>

"Would you cut that out?" everybody yelled at the same time.

<Sorry.>

After listening to the story about Magick, we all headed to the nearest police station.  They were shocked that we had managed to catch Tac, because he had been causing trouble for years.  They offered to give us anything we wanted, so I ended up with a brand new Mustang that looked exactly like my old one.  We all piled into it, then drove to the TR47 cabin.

Little did we know that Tac was being held at a Maximum-Security Prison for Pokmon.  In one cell there was a single Master Ball labeled Tac.  The cell was guarded by ten guards, and numerous security devices.  Tac would be there a very long time.

Inside of the cell, the single Master Ball began to lightly shake and bounce.  It glowed brightly, then stopped.  Tac would be in there his whole life.  Or would he?

And that's the end of Chapter V.  Once again, I've left you hanging, but that's not my problem.  I'll start Chapter VI some time soon.  How soon depends on how soon I feel like starting.  I wrote this entire Chapter in one day, so you never know.  I'm planning at least one more Chapter, but I'm not sure how much farther than that I'll go.  I'm shooting for Chapter X, so we'll see what happens.  That's only four Chapters to write if I do.  Anyways, thanks to all the people that I got ideas from.  Since I DID take a name from a published book, I have to give credit specifically to J. K. Rohling so that I'm not breaking any copyright laws.  Anyways, that's it.  I guess you'll see me again whenever I get the next Chapter written.  As always, this is Luke Judd saying, See you next Chapter!
