| The day for me had started like any other day. Nothing out of the ordinary. Little did I know that it was all about to change . . . School had just gotten over for the summer, but I wasnt going back in September. I had graduated, so my High School experience was over. I was in the basement sitting on my bed in my room, with my laptop computer doing just what it was intended for: sitting in my lap. A cord trailed across my room which was connected to my laptop at one end, then my phone line at the other. At the time I was chatting with my friend, Michelle, who lived in California. We had been chatting for about two hours, and were talking about our summer plans. I was enjoying myself, because I love to chat with my friends on the Internet. All of a sudden a sound like a thunder crash filed the air. In the same instant, I was thrown off my bed as the entire room shifted a few feet. I instinctively dove under my bed and grabbed onto the leg as the entire house began to shake violently. This was caused by only one thing; the Wasatch Fault. It had been holding back stress and pressure for over 100 years, and it had just released all those years of pressure. I could gear and see things falling all around me and could barely hang onto the bed as the massive earthquake continued. After what seemed like an eternity, which was actually only a minute or two, the quake finally stopped. I lifted my head a few seconds after it stopped, but the only thing I saw was broken drywall, books, and other various objects scattered across the floor. I listened for a few moments, but the only thing I heard was an eerie silence. Suddenly the house groaned, and the sound of wood snapping and shattering glass filled my ears. Everything went dark moments later, and I was knocked out in the process. I woke up and couldnt tell what time it was. I couldnt see anything, and attempts to move were painful. I managed to pull my keychain out of my pocket I switched on a small flashlight attached to the keychain and looked around. I was surrounded on all sides by debris from when the house had collapsed. I was trapped. I could faintly smell methane (natural gas) which was probably coming from a leaking gas line. It was cold, so I pulled my blanket over myself to keep warm. All of a sudden I heard a noise like wind, and instantly threw the blanket over myself. A wave of heat rushed over me, then dissipated as fast as it had come. Apparently my flashlight had ignited the gas. I saw my wristwatch lying a few feet away from me, so I reached out to grab it. I just managed to get it without moving much. I looked at the cracked face, and it was 8:30 P.M. I then noticed a broken clock lying on the floor which was the remains of a 3D puzzle. I grabbed the face and looked at it, and it read 3:00 P.M. That was likely when the earthquake had hit. I could hardly move, because it hurt if I tried. I turned the flashlight to my leg and saw that a large beam was resting in it. I wasnt going anywhere. Since my bed was right next to my bookshelf, there were quite a few books scattered nearby. I grabbed one and started reading to try and take my mind off the pain, which wasnt too successful. Eventually, I dont know exactly when, I fell asleep. I knew that search-and-rescue teams would be out the next day for sure. I wasnt going to lose hope if it killed me, but that wasnt a very comforting thought at the time. (-Point of View Change-) I had been chatting with Luke for about two hours when suddenly he went offline without telling me. I accepted this as normal, because he got disconnected from Yahoo! Messenger and his ISP quite often. I waited patiently for him to return, but he never did. After about ten minutes passed I decided that he wasnt coming back, so I went and watched TV. I had been watching TV for a little while when a Special News Report came up. Stupid news interruption, I said as I got up to change the channel. We interrupt this regularly scheduled program to bring you this special news report. An earthquake that is being called the largest in history has left Utah in ruins. I was instantly horrified as those first lines sank in. This earthquake is undoubtedly the largest in history, measuring at a whopping 9.5 on the Richter Scale. The epicenter of the earthquake was determined to be located near Provo, Utah. The Wasatch fault has been semi-active for hundreds of year, but it wasnt until now that it slipped. I stared in horror as the coverage continued. Eventually live views were being broadcasted which showed the destruction that had taken place. Almost every single building was either mostly toppled or completely destroyed. This is live coverage from the town of Mapleton, Utah, which appears to be that hardest hit due to its location relative to the fault. I was shocked by what I saw. Where homes had once stood, there were now piles of rubble and debris. Most of the homes were either collapsed or in flames. One specific home caught my attention because of a fishpond in the yard, as well as gray siding in the rubble. I fell back into the chair and burst into tears. Lukes house had been completely destroyed, and I knew for a fact that he was in it since he was chatting with me on the net. My sister Joey (everybody just calls her that) came into the room and asked me what was wrong. I didnt say anything, but instead pointed at the TV. Joey watched the coverage for a few minutes, then stood up slowly. She walked off, obviously shaken. Steve, my brother, also walked in and saw what had happened. He watched the coverage for a while, then turned to me. What are you so shaken up about? So there was an earthquake. Thats not anything new. When Steve said that, I jumped out of my seat, still sobbing. I hope a house crashes down on top of you! Then see what you think! I yelled at him. After saying that, I ran to my room, locked my door, then threw myself onto the bed uncontrollably. Joey came and pounded on my door a few minutes later. Michelle! Youve gotta come see whats happening! I wiped my face and stood up shakily, then went and unlocked my door. I went to the TV to see what Joey was so worked up about. Small tremors (aftershocks, in this case) were happening, and it showed. The ground was definitely shaking, but not that much. After watching the coverage nonstop until 11:30 P.M., I finally went to bed. I was depressed beyond belief. The next day I continued to watch the live coverage in Utah. At that time the rescue teams had been called out, so there were also parts showing the teams going through the debris that used to be a home. (-Point of View Change-) I woke up at 9:00 A.M. the next morning, and the first thing that my senses picked up was the pain. After that, my other senses began to work one by one. Eventually a new sound came to my ears, breaking the silence. It sounded like . . . DOGS!!! I had a leap of joy right then (mentally), because I knew that the rescue teams were out searching for survivors. I heard a persons voice very faintly, but it was too muffled to understand what they were saying. I also heard the high-pitched yelp of a dog, indicating that it smelled someone. I didnt realize it, but that someone was me. (-POV Change-) I continued to watch the TV, hypnotized by what it showed. The picture changed, and went to a house where rescue teams were scrambling around in search of survivors. The dogs had picked up a scent and were climbing through the rubble to find the person. I couldnt identify the house from this angle, so I didnt get my hopes up. Various machines were being used to move the wreckage around. It was all a tangled mess of beams, electrical wiring, and drywall. It didnt seem like anybody could survive under all that debris. Eventually a hold was cleared out in the rubble, so a few workers went in. After a few minutes two ran out, then ran back in with a stretcher. I watched, horrified by what I might see, but also fascinated. Fascinated by the fact that so many people were devoting their lives to save others. A little while passed, and the rescue team emerged from the rubble, carrying a person on the stretcher. A crowd of people there applauded the workers for their rescue. The person on the stretcher held up their hand and indicated for the rescue people to stop. The person stood up with a little help from the people, and I screamed with joy. It was Luke! A cameraman interviewed him for a few moments, then he was assisted to a waiting life flight chopper, which was the only way to transport victims. Just before the door on the chopper was slid shut, Luke gestured to the cameraman again. The person approached Luke, and Luke cleared his throat. Michelle, if youre watching, I want you to know that I love you. No matter what, Ill find a way to get to you. I started to cry. That all meant a lot to me. I knew that Luke was okay now, and somehow he knew that I was watching. I turned off the TV, then went to get some food, smiling. (-POV Change-) I was transported to a nearby hospital after I was pulled from the debris. The people had used some sort of airbag to lift the beam off my leg. At the hospital the bone in my leg was set, then put in a cast. It would be a few months before it would be completely healed. I learned quickly how to use my crutches. While I was at the hospital get treatment for my leg, a person came in to give me a message. I took the message envelope from the person after providing ID, then thanked them. I opened the envelope and pulled out a piece of paper. Inside the paper was $500 in cash. As I read the letter, I almost fell over in shock and despair. I was the only one left in my family. Everybody else in my family had been pulled from wreckage in various places, all dead. There was nothing left for me here in Utah. As I was putting the letter back in the envelope, I noticed two smaller pieces of paper. One was a note. It said that as the only living member in my family, I had inherited a few items from my parents. One of which was a check for $500,000. I knew my parents had been saving up money and had life insurance, but I didnt realize it was that much. There was something else written on the note that caught my attention immediately. It said that along with the money in the check, an additional $100,000 had been deposited in my bank account for various other things, such as the insurance on the cars and such. That made the total $600,000. I arranged for a chopper to pick me up and fly me to an airport a ways away that hadnt been touched by the earthquake. When I got to the airport, I paid the pilot, then bought a ticket to a small business jet that would fly me to Denver, then Id buy a ticket to fly out to Los Angeles. The flight was an hour, so I had plenty of time to think about what had happened. When we landed in Denver, I got off the jet and walked to the airport terminal. I purchased a ticket to Los Angeles aboard a 747, then hurried to the terminal. The plane would be departing in 15 minutes. I checked the one bag of items that I had rescued from the wreckage of my house, then went to the terminal carrying my backpack. I checked in at the gate, then headed down the long walkway to the plane. As we were flying over Utah, and incredible thing happened. We were flying over downtown Provo, when suddenly another earthquake struck. I watched in horror and amazement as the ground literally began to tear apart where the fault was. After the earthquake stopped, there was a massive crack in the ground. The size varied from a couple inches to a few yards. I was glad that I had left when I did. While we were flying over the Utah desert, I pulled my notebook out of my backpack and started writing an account of what had happened. I was planning on releasing it to a publishing company or a newspaper. Id mail the letter from the airport, because I knew the address to the place I was thinking of. The pilot came over the intercom and announced that the plane was flying into some turbulence. I buckled my seatbelt, then relaxed as the plane occasionally bounced as it hit the pockets of turbulence. As I was looking out the window, I caught a quick glimpse of something flying past. At first I thought it might be a bird, but then it flew past again, just as quickly. I was sure that I had seen something pink just fly past the window. I looked around, but nobody else saw anything. I sat back against my seat again and tried to get it out of my mind. Perhaps all the trauma of my family members deaths was causing me to see things. The flight was almost over by then, so I buckled my seatbelt and watched the clouds blow past rapidly. Eventually the plane dipped below the clouds and I could see the Los Angeles Airport in the distance. I wasnt sure how Id get around L.A., but Id figure it out somehow. I looked out a few moments and saw the L.A. Airport approaching rapidly. The plane quickly descended toward the runway, nose tilted up. The plane shuddered as the tires came in contact with the pavement, then bumped again as the plane touched down. We pulled into the gate a few minutes later, and came to a stop. I picked up my backpack and noticed that it felt a bit heavier, but thought nothing of it. I stepped off the plane as the flight attendant said goodbye to me, then headed down the walkway toward the gate. I stepped out into the airport terminal and looked around. Everything and everybody was busy, with people walking or running in various directions. I went to the baggage claim and waited as my bag came, then picked it up and walked to the rental car area. I was disappointed to see that you had to be 21 to rent one, so I hailed a Taxi. He tossed my bag and backpack onto the seat, then told the driver where I was headed. I looked down at my leg as I was getting in, and noticed that it didnt hurt at all. I hadnt taken my painkillers that day, so I was amazed. A little while later, I arrived at my destination. I paid the driver, pulled out my bags, and walked up to the door as he drove away. (-POV Change-) I had been playing video games all day, but I had still been thinking about Luke all day. I hoped that he was okay now. Ever since I saw Luke get rescued, I was feeling much better. It felt as if a huge load of bricks had been taken off my back. While I was watching TV, there was a knock at the door. I was the first person up, so I went to see who it was. Little did I realize that I was about to receive the surprise of my life. (-POV Change-) I waited patiently after knocking on the door, After a few minutes, the door opened and Michelle was standing there. She screamed, then ran off. Hello to you too, Michelle, I called after her. Michelle came back a few minutes later, red in the face. She was a bit embarrassed. Did you miss me? I asked humorously. The truth was, I had never met Michelle in person. We chatted on the Internet quite often, but we hadnt met. I met her sister, Joey, in Disneyland the previous year while I was on Orchestra Tour, but not Michelle. I wouldve met Michelle, but she had school still. I saw that Michelle was thinking about something. I put down my bag and looked at her, then she stepped closer to me. I took a step backwards, not knowing what she was thinking. Suddenly she dove forward and tackled me to the ground like a linebacker. The leg, the leg! I yelled, suddenly in pain. It hadnt hurt at all until right then. Michelle got off me and apologized, then helped me up. Then, as if nothing had happened, the pain subsided and went away in a few seconds. I explained my situation to Michelle, and she was shocked. She hadnt realized that the rest of my family was dead. Michelle told me to stay there while I looked for a more permanent place to live. I agreed, then stepped inside. I pulled off my backpack and put it down, then looked around. They had a nice house. It wasnt as big mine, which had been destroyed, but thats because people in Utah are spoiled. Our old house was average size. Not real big, but not small either. I bent down and unzipped my backpack, but instead of finding my laptop, something shot out quickly. I looked up and gasped at what was staring me in the face. It was a Mew! I didnt believe that Pokmon were real until then. Before then they were just part of a cartoon to entertain young kids, or the young at heart. It hovered in the air, staring back at me. That Mew mustve been what I saw out the airplane window. It was also the reason that my backpack had been a bit heavier. Neither of us moved until Michelle cleared her throat. The Mew floated over to me and I stood completely still. I didnt know what it was thinking. It slowly circled around me a few times, then landed on my shoulder. It sat there, inspecting me carefully. It was probably making sure I wouldnt hurt it. It seems to like you, Michelle giggled. You dont say, I responded sarcastically. I then got a bit brave, and reached up to touch the Mew. At first it pulled back, unsure of what I was thinking, but then it allowed me to touch. I caressed its face, and it giggled as I did so. Apparently it was ticklish as well. The Mew hopped off my shoulder then hovered in the air in front of me, smiling. It floated toward me and I reached out to grab it. I held it gently in my arms as it wrapped its tail around my waist. Suddenly I was overwhelmed my some indescribable feeling. Luke, you, you, Michelle stuttered. I what? I asked her? I then glanced down and noticed that my feet werent touching the floor. I didnt panic, because somehow I knew that the Mew was making me do that. I hovered over to Michelle and held out my had. She hesitated, then reluctantly took my hand. Suddenly both of us shot out the door like a rocket. We soared into the air at an amazing speed, but amazingly enough there was no wind blowing in our faces. Michelle and I enjoyed that immensely. After an hour of flying, we went back to Michelles house. It was fairly late by then, so we decided to get some sleep. I slept on the couch, Mew curled up next to me. Michelle were the only ones that knew about Mew at the moment, but that would change. I woke up the next morning to find Mew sitting on to of the couch watching me. It was probably waiting for me to wake up. I sat up and looked at Mew, then went to my backpack. I pulled out a sketch pad and a pencil, then sat back down on the couch. Dont move, I said calmly. Mew obediently held still as I sketched carefully. After about two hours, the sketch was finished. The result was an excellent sketch of Mew. I was fairly good at sketching when I took my time. Michelle walked in and saw the sketch immediately. She commented on how good it looked, then petted Mew for a few second. Michelle went to the kitchen to get some food, and I soon went there as well. Mew followed me, floating in the air. I had no idea why Mew trusted me so much, but I didnt care. We ate breakfast, then played games for a few hours. Joey came home a little while later, because she had slept over at a friends house. She came in the room we were in, and immediately I saw a look of happiness cross her face. Luke! She ran over to me and gave me a hug, then saw Mew. Mew had been sitting behind me, watching Michelle and I play the N64. It seemed especially interested in Pokmon Stadium. Joey looked at the Mew, which looked right back at her. Hi Joey. Whats up? I asked. I could ask you the same thing, she replied. You must be referring to Mew. Joey nodded. I honestly dont know where it came from, but it really seems to like me. Its really friendly, look. I picked up Mew and handed it to Joey. I could tell that Joey was afraid at first, but that fear quickly disappeared. The Mew floated out of Joeys arms and did a few circles around her, brushing its tail against her as it circled. Joey giggled, then Mew floated back to me and landed on my shoulder. We talked for a while, then all of us walked to a nearby park for a while to get outside. Quite a few people stopped and stared at us as we walked because of Mew, but we got used to it. A lot of kids also ran up to us, asking us how I got Mew. We were polite to them and answered their questions, then decided that we should head back to the house. When we got home, there was a letter for me in the mail. Who knew that I was staying at Michelles house? I opened the letter and read it. It was only half a page, and there was no return address anywhere on the letter or the envelope. It said that our presence was requested at an event, but it didnt say where. Michelle, Joey, and I looked at each other in confusion. A special event? I thought out loud. It doesnt say where. Mew, however, seemed to know what the letter was about. The three of us sat down on the couch, trying to figure out the letter. Mew got our attention, and we watched as it began to glow a bit, concentrating its powers. Suddenly our surroundings began to change. We found ourselves at a convention of some sort. We walked around and looked at everything, astonished by the sight. Nobody there seemed to notice us, no matter what. After a few minutes, everything changed again, and we found ourselves at a cabin. There was a Mewtwo waiting there, but it was darkened by a shadow. So, you have found them, the Mewtwo said in a feminine voice. Excellent work. Bring them as soon as time permits. The surroundings changed again, and we found ourselves sitting on the couch again. The whole thing had been a vision generated by Mew, so it apparently knew all about it. We knew immediately that we would go with Mew, no questions asked. We began packing immediately, which didnt take very long. After a few hours, we had all our stuff ready, and also a letter explaining our plans to leave. Im picked up Mew then held Michelles hand. Michelle grabbed Joeys hand, and suddenly our bags disappeared. We looked at each other puzzled, then suddenly shot out the door. We watched the ground rapidly move past us even though we were so high up in the air. After only a few minutes, we were flying over the ocean and could see Pokmon Island approaching in the distance. I then realized that Pokmon Island was actually two separate islands. I had experience with playing the Gameboy Pokmon games, so I knew the two Islands: Johto and Kanto. We landed on the island a few moments later. The island was quite large; about the size of California and Texas in total land area. We had landed in the middle of a forest, far from any towns. I let go of Mew and looked around, wondering what we were doing there. We walked for a few minutes, then walked into an open clearing. There happened to be a small cabin there. We followed Mew up to the cabin, looking around curiously. The door opened, and a large Mewtwo greeted us. We all had seen pictures of Mewtwo, but this one was different. A normal Mewtwo was purple with a lighter purple or white stomach, but this one was pink. We went inside and dropped out stuff, looking around. The cabin was quite small, but it was adequate for space since there were only two living there: Mewtwo and Mew. There was a portrait on one wall of a large group of people. They were all wearing shirts with TR47 printed on the front in large letters. Joey, Michelle, and I all recognized that TR47 immediately. It stood for Team Rocket47, an organization put together by a group who had rebelled against Team Rocket. The three of us had joined an online club, but we didnt think that TR47 was for real. Now we knew that it was. The Mewtwo came up to us and cleared its throat, getting out attention. Welcome. My name is Kat, and this is my partner, Dreana, she said, gesturing to Mew. You can just call her Drea if you prefer. The reason I had Drea bring you here is because we have been watching the three of you ever since your birth. We watched you grow and develop, and have also tracked your progress in life. You involvement in the Team Rocket47 Club is what made me decide to send Drea to fetch you. I spoke up right then. So, what your saying is, the reason were here is because of the TR47 Headquarters Club? Kat nodded and said, It wasnt just being in the club that brought you here. You three, as well as a few others, were very involved in the club for a long time. You more than almost everybody else, Joey. This caused Joey to blush. The founders of the original TR47 club were actually our people who were looking for recruits that we considered to be worthy of joining. When Tac destroyed the club, a few of you reconstructed the club and brought it up to much more than we had ever imagined it would be. The three of us just stared in amazement. We could hardly believe this was happening. Was this happening? I pinched myself to make sure, and it wasnt a dream. Kat giggled as she watched me. While there are other joining along with you three, theres a special reason we chose you. Oh? I asked. And what is that? You three havent discovered it yet, but the three of you have powers capable of exceeding any Pokmon that ever existed. Some occurrences may have seemed like coincidence to you three, but they were actually caused by your powers. You mean like when I sometimes say the exact same thing as other people? I asked. Kat nodded. Exactly like that, Kat replied. Kat explained some other stuff to us, which we all found fascinating. As she explained, it all began to make more sense. The inspiration for Joey and I to write our TR47 fanfics had been generated by Kat, who had been psychically sending us the ideas the whole time. We discussed it for a little while later, then Kat showed us around the cabin. She showed us where wed be sleeping, which happened to be in rooms which seemed to be intended for us only, as if they knew the whole time that we were coming. When I stepped into my room, I was shocked. Everything was exactly the same as what my room back home looked like before the quake hit. Everything down to the finest details. I blushed when I saw a hole at the base of the door. I had caused that by kicking the door when I was angry at my family, which was often. I dropped all my stuff on a glider-rocker then looked around. There was even a model of an F-14 which wasnt all the way painted, just like at home. Michelle and Joey were equally astonished with their rooms as well. Hey Kat, I said, could you get some stuff for me? Sure, she replied, I was going into town anyway. Ill stop by the model shop and get the stuff you need. I froze. How did she know I needed model supplied when I hadnt even told her yet? Then it occurred to me that she was psychic. She could read minds any time she wanted to. She and Drea left, then returned a few hours later carrying quite a few bags of stuff. They handed Joey, Michelle, and me a bag, then carried the rest of the stuff into the kitchen. I looked in mine first. It contained various items: a few sketch pads, a box of pencils, model paints, a hobby knife, a model kit of a 2001 Mustang Convertible, and a set of car keys. A set of car keys? I pulled the keys out and examined them. The two keys had the Ford Motor Company logo on one side. I didnt get it. I turned the keys over, and immediately I got it. On the other side, there was a horse imprinted into the metal. I ran outside full speed because that only meant one thing to me: Mustang. In the clearing was a brand-new 2001 Red Mustang GT Convertible. There was a note in the drivers seat, which I noticed when I walked up to the car and looked in. I read the note, and smiled. The Mustang was a gift from Kat and Drea. Where did they get the money for something like that? A Mustang GT Coupe was $23,500 without any optional extras, and a GT Convertible was about $30,000 or more. I went to the trunk and put in the key, then opened it. Inside was a set of tools and a box. The box contained a Supercharger Kit for the Mustang. I slammed the trunk shut, then ran back inside. I ran into the kitchen and threw my arms around Kat, thanking her and Drea. Drea backed off before I could hug her. Michelle and Joey had the same reaction as me. Joey had gotten the motorcycle that she dreamed of, and Michelle got a matching Mustang Convertible. After we had all calmed down, I went into my room, carrying my bag. I pulled out an airbrush and assembled it, then attached a bottle of white paint. I sprayed down the belly of the plane with the white paint, because the was the only part that wasnt finished. After painting the belly of the plane, I did detailing to make sure that all the paint was the right color, and that all the parts on the outside were finished. I laid down my plane gently, then checked the time. It was getting late, so I crawled into my bed and fell fast asleep. I woke up at 9:00 A.M. the next morning and was immediately aware of the fact that I was being watched. Dreana floated to the bed and landed at my feet. Nice of you to wake up, she said. I sat up and threw a pillow at her, then crawled out of bed. I walked over to my dresser and pulled out a change of clothes, then dropped them on my bed. I then looked at Dreana. I then walked to the bathroom. There wasnt anybody in there, so I walked in. I took a quick shower, then walked back to my bedroom with a towel wrapped around myself. Dreana was still in there. DO YOU MIND? I shouted at her. She blushed, then floated out of my room, closing and locking the door behind her. I put on the change of clothes, which were stained with a few oil spots and grease. They were my work clothes. I went outside and pulled the Supercharger Kit and tools out of the trunk, then set them out on the grass next to the car. I opened the box and pulled out the destructions after a bit of digging around (get it?). I read through the instructions, then got to work. Occasionally somebody would call my name. As a reaction, I would lift my head to see who it was and hit my head on the hood. I got used to it after a while, so eventually I stopped hitting my head. Everybody seemed to be making it a goal to make me hit my head, but then gave up when I stopped doing it. About four hours later, I was finished. I cleaned most of the oil off my hands with a rag, then climbed into the drivers seat. I started up the car and listened to the engine. I flipped the Supercharger switch, then revved the engine. The engine roar became even louder, much to my satisfaction. I flipped the switch, quieting the engine, then shut off the engine completely. I climbed out and slammed the hood down, then cleaned up the stuff scattered around the car. I went inside and washed my hands, then joined everybody in a game of Go Fish that lasted until 11:00 P.M. A few days went by, and everything went on as usual. Kat continued our training, more TR47 Club members joined, etc. On the final run, Dreana returned with a girl that I felt as if I had known her for years. She looked around, then immediately noticed me. I must be in the right place, she said. She had an Australian accent, which actually sounded more British. That gave it away for me, because I only knew one person like that: JadsY. Hello, I said to her. I take it youre Jads. Exactly right, she replied, giggling. Then that would make you Slick? *AHEM* I cleared my throat and Jads understood. Sorry, Lukey, she giggled. I rolled my eyes then looked at Jads. She stepped up to me and gave me a hug, which caught me by surprise. We had never met in person, so I wasnt entirely shocked. We all talked for a few hours. We knew Jads fairly well, but none of us had actually met her in person. JadsY was just as surprised as the rest of us had been when Kat explained everything to her. Our initiation ceremony would be in a week. It started to get late, so I decided to go to bed. We didnt do much of anything for the entire week. Mostly we played Go Fish. Eventually initiation came, and it was time for all of us to become official members of Team Rocket47. We ate breakfast, then hiked to a forest clearing. We all looked around in confusion. Why were we there in the forest? We followed Kat, who led us to a large tree with a massive trunk. Kat touched the trunk and gave of a strange psychic pulse. The tree began to rumble, and a doorway opened in the trunk. Inside, there was a spiral staircase leading down in the darkness. We all stepped inside, and Kat let off another Psychic Pulse. The secret door slid shut, leaving is in pitch black darkness. Uh, what do we do now? I asked. Youre a Psychic Pokmon, you figure it out, Kat replied. I looked around in the darkness, and from what I heard, so did everybody else. Suddenly a great idea come to me. I knew a few attacks that Kat had taught us, so I might as well try one. First I used transform and turned into an Anthro Raichu. The glowing was enough to light the spiral staircase only for a few moments, but that wasnt my intention. I charged up my electrical sacs, then prepared to let off the attack. Everybody close your eyes, I said, this may be a bit bright. I released the electricity in the form of a very powerful Flash attack. The entire passageway lit up, and stayed illuminated. Everybody opened their eyes and smiled. It had been a great idea. We made our way down the long spiral staircase, and after a little while we came to a heavy metal door. We all tried to open the door, but it wouldnt budge. Dont bother trying, Kat said as she came down the stairs last. Only TR47 members can open that door. Kat stepped around all of us and walked up to the door. She pushed on the door and it swung open effortlessly. We all walked in, and Kat shut the door behind us. We all looked around in amazement. The place we were in was a huge underground training facility. It had equipment and obstacle courses for both Pokmon and people. There was also a battle ground, which had numerous chairs set up on it at the moment. Most of the chairs were occupied by Team Rocket47 members. Kat led us into the area and stood us in front of the members. There was a short speech by Kat and a few others, but Kats was the longest since the entire idea was mainly hers. After the speeches, the leader of TR47 had us give a pledge of loyalty (as if we needed it), followed by a speech from the leader. We were presented with badges, which had the TR47 logo on them. The person congratulated us, then the ceremony was over as quickly as it had begun. After the ceremony, Kat took us on a quick tour of the training facility. Kat wouldve trained Joey, Michelle, and I there, but she wanted to keep it a secret until out initiation. Afterwards, we went back to the cabin. It wasnt very late, so we played Go Fish for a while. <Authors note: Go Fish is the official game of TR47> What was that? Luke asked. It was probably just the author explaining something, Kat replied. <Exactly right, Kat.> They all looked around in annoyance, then continued the game. The game was canceled after we found out that everybody with psychic powers was using them, so the game was a waste of time. I pulled out my computer after we quit the game and plugged it into the phone line. I logged on to the Internet and checked my E-Mail. There was 150 messages worth of junk mail, so I deleted it all after scanning through the senders and subjects. After checking my E-Mail, I logged off my laptop and put it away. I checked my watch, then went to sleep. Over the next few weeks, Kat continued to train us in the facility until we had reached our strongest point possible. Kat could only train us so much, because we now had the same abilities as her. It was impossible for us to become more powerful than Kat with her as our teacher, because she could only teach us what she knew. The rest we would have to learn on our own. Our training was over. Eventually Christmas time came and went, and New Years was approaching fast. We had a huge party planned. None of us planned on sleeping that night. Finally New Years Eve came, and everybody was hyper as ever. There was tons of food set out on a table, most of which was candy and such. There were tons of decorations put up, and we had lots of games planned. It was only 6:00 P.M., but everybody couldnt wait. We had been playing Go Fish most of the day, but it was called because of cheating. After that we played Blackjack. We were betting anything, however. We were just playing the game. At 9:30 P.M. everybody started to get a little crazy. The reason for that was Champagne and Wine. Everybody was stone drunk. Even Kat and Dreana, who were dancing around the room to the music I had put on. The rest of us were either laughing, or singing along horribly with the music. At 11:00 P.M. things werent any better. We were even more drunk than we had been at 9:00 P.M. One of the members started to say something inappropriate, but I smacked him upside the head before he finished. He stood up unsteadily and looked at me. What was that for, he said in a heavily slurred voice from the alcohol. I don know, I replied in an even more slurred voice. I dont remember hitting you. He made an attempt to tackle me, but instead fell right down. I responded by laughing, and so did everybody else. We were too drunk to care about anything. At 11:55 P.M. were we all in the same room, gathered around a clock. None of us were any less drunk. As the seconds ticked away, we grew more excited. Finally we began to count down when it reached one minute. When we got to ten seconds, Michelle and I looked at each other. Michelles party hat was sitting on her head completely crooked, and my vision was blurry. We leaned closer together and kissed when everybody said three. We didnt stop until well after everybody had yelled Happy New Year! We pulled away from each other and gazed into each others eyes. For some reason or another, it seemed as if the effects of the alcohol had completely disappeared, because I felt normal. About an our later everything died down and everybody went to bed in a drunken stupor. Michelle and I cuddled up together on the couch and fell asleep. I woke up the next morning and smiled as I remembered the entire party. Then I remembered the part about kissing Michelle and us cuddling up on the couch. I glanced over, and sure enough, Michelle was curled up next to me, fast asleep. I blushed, because she had her arms around me and her head was lying on my chest. She had fallen asleep that way. As my senses began to check in one by one, a splitting headache overcame me. It was from all the alcohol. It was by far the worst hangover Id ever had. I moved Michelle gently, then crawled off the couch and stumbled to the bathroom. I pulled open the medicine cabinet and took out a bottle of aspirin, then tipped three tablets out of the bottle. I popped all three in my mouth and washed them down with a cup of water, then took a shower and put on a clean pair of clothes. Everybody else was the same way as me. By the time everybody had taken something or other for their headaches, the entire bottle aspirin was gone. We all cleaned up the mess after a little while, then played Go Fish again after everybody promised not to use their powers that had them. The months passed, and we performed tasks such as catching Pokmon, thwarting some dude who cant be named, and also pestering the boss for a raise. WHAT??? Why cant I be named? the unnamed one yelled. There you go again! Whats the deal? <Im the author. I can do what I want> Who died and made you ruler? he yelled. <Me. Its my story.> Why wont you mention my name just once? <Because youre an idiot and everybody hates you.> That hurt . . . <Thank you.> If I got my hands on you Id . . . <Excuse me? Did you just threaten me?> Um, no. Yes. Cut that out! <I can make you do anything, remember?> Oh, crap. <You got that right.> Im an idiot! <Youre right.> Im a loser, a moron, I have no life, and everybody hates my guts! <Couldnt have said it better myself. Oh, wait. I did.> I hate my life. <Whoa. I didnt even make you say that either.> Of course you did! Youre writing the story! <Oh yeah ^_^;;> Idiot. <Grrr . . . Anyways, theres not much else in the story.> Says who? the unnamed one yelled. <Shut up.> Suddenly a lightning bolt shot out of nowhere and hit Tac, shocking him severely. <There. I said your name. Happy?> Quite, he said weakly. <As I was saying, the story is pretty much over. Michelle and I fall in love and get married eventually, and some other stuff happens. If you really care, then ask me. END STORY NOW!!!> WAIT!!! Suddenly Godzilla appeared out of nowhere and ate Tac, then disappeared again. <I never liked that guy that much anyway.> |
