Reception Details
Food
In order to celebrate their heritages, the couple decided on a menu to illustrate three different cultures: German, Italian, and Cuban.  This was the most exciting part of planning the wedding. The chef was very flexible and willing to try different things.
We had three food stations, and one table for plates/the salad.

Cuban Food Station:
Pork Loins sauteed in a black bean, tomato, corn salsa
   Arroz Amarillo

Italian Food Station:
   Minestrone Soup
   Penne pasta with turkey sausage

German Good Station:
Marinated Bratwursts with purple potatoes and red cabbage
Drinks
Keeping with our international theme, we had Irish Crme coffee with whip cream, and Cuban Coffee.
The couple also had special pottery
goblets as their drinking cups.
Table Names
Staying with our international theme, each table was named for a different country. The common thread was the word love. Each table had love spelled out in it's country's language.
Ex: Amor for Spain, l'amore for Italy.
The place cards correspond with the country's love word.
The head table had Love: The International language.
Cake
Our wonderful cake was made by
Sheila's Sweets, based out of Winchester, VA. It was three-tiered and based on a picture from a Martha Stewart book. The layers were : irish cream with chocolate filling (top), lemon with raspberry feeling (middle), and marble with icing filling (bottom). HMMM!!!!
Guest book             Guest book Sheet
The guest book was a scrap book, decorated with the same blue/glitter fabric the bride put on the ring box. Each page had a music manuscript. Guests were asked to sing in. This represents how our family and friends are the manuscript of our lives. Each page was adorned with a Chinese love stamp and music notes
.
Photo Matte
Guests were also asked to sign on a photo matte that would later be framed for the couple's home.
Decoration
The reception room, the Mountainner Room, was decorated with white lights and tulle around the room. The main entrance was also decorated with lights.
What was on the tables
Each guest found at their setting a
CD favor, the reception menu, ,a camera with directions, bubble decorated with glitter fabric and a blue ribbon with the couple's name and wedding date imprinted on. The centerpiece was a three-glass-tubes with blue rocks and floating candles.
