Best. Flight sim. Ever!
Frankly, this is one of the best games I ever played. Seriosoly, if you are a DC owner and you like shooters, you WILL love this game.
Concept: Yet another space based shoot 'em up flight sim, but thouroghly kicks the butt of any of the Star Wars games.
Plot: Save the solar system from oppressive commies (the bad guys are Russians), who tricked the allaince (the good guys). Now, the allaince fleet has been forced to retreat to Neptune in order to regroup. You, a pilot, are part of the 45th volunteer squadron, who in just 2 years will become the top guns of the Allaince fleet.
Graphics: Beautiful, just dazzling. While out classed by Rogue Leader, there still damn good, and look as good as Star War Starfighter and Jedi Starfighter. The lighting effect were cool, and the backrounds really made you think this was real. Dozen of object can occupy the screen at once, showing just how powerful the DC is.
Playability: The controls are very responisive, and Warthog did a great job adapting the keyboard controls to the 4 button DC controller
Sound: Bueatiful music that really sets the mood. Gotta love the succesful end-of-mission tune! Great acting on the most part, and you will enjoy making your enemies scream when you blow 'em up!
Replay Value: Each mission can have a different outcome, since many secondary targets are available in each level. You won't be able to get all of the secondary your first time, so you WILL be coming back for more. High replay value!
Extra features: It has a cool online feature that will allow you to battle with top gunners from across the world!
