Sonic Adventure is so deep that it definately has a great value. This is a must have game for all DC owners. The game is simple to understand yet hard to master. Sonic Adventure is different from the previous Sonic games as it is more of a team game. Before it would always just be Sonic and Tails experiencing the same adventure. In later titles Knuckles was introduced but had almost the same story to follow. Sonic Adventure is different though. It is like a story. There's 6 Characters and each character has his/hers own story they follow up with each tieing in with each others at one point of the adventure. You start off with Sonic and eventually throughout the whole adventure you meet all your other characters that are following their stories. At that point they become playable. The game is divided into 3 parts. There's the adventure fields where you do all the searching and most of the events take place. Than there is the Action Stages which is the major part of the game. The last is the mini games. They are games that follow up on the story but are too small to be action stages. This all fits really nicely to make one huge Adventure Story.
Also in this title there is an Artificial life system. This also ties in with the story. They are small creatures you care for and try to raise. There's millions of possibilities to raise them and depending what you do will result in the behaviour of your Chao. This is where the VMU also ties in. A major option with the VMU is the LCD screen and the controlls. In the game you are able to take one of your Chao you are raising in the Chao garden (A Chao garden is the place where all the chao you raise stay and live) and put him into your VMU. This loads a mini game into it where you can play a game called Chao Adventure. It is important to play with them in your VMU as you need to play with them in both the Chao garden and the VMU to get them really strong. This is a very good addition to this game as when you will pass the game you will want to do new interesting things and the Chao A life system is endless fun and experimenting. There's just millions of possibilities you can do with your chao.

As Sega's goal is to expand gaming online this game showes some of that. This adds even more of that to this games lastability. This game isn't online capable as a true 3D interaction but instead it has many good Score uploads Game downloads for your VMU where it changes some of the levels and makes it more fun to play. A major part of this game is the World Rankings. The World Rankings is a contest for everone around the world to enter using the DC's modem and the Sonic Advnture game. The only way you can access this SA site. The concept is simple you make an upload of your data where it tells everone online hoe fast you finished the level. Every 2 weeks there is a new ranking. You have to do a level for an example with a specific character and who ever finishes it faster after the 2 weeks ehich is the contest duration can win tons of prizes. This is a lot of fun but also a huge strain as the gamers online are tough. What the game expects you to do is hard but this takes the game to another level. (Ex the game wants you to pass Emerald coast in 2:00. This is hard for tons of people. What they have passed it in online was 1:02. Now there's no way to cheat so you only have to practice untill you beat them all. It is possible and again this game's deepness as each level has tons of secrets where if you know them you can go faster. You need these to pass some levels.
In conclussion this is a must have title as it is one of those games you never get tired off and want to go back to them even after you pass it. There's just so much to do and with the online Rankings it's a sure hit. You can't go wrong by buying it. Everyone can find something in it for themselves. There's racing, adventure, action, suspence, fighting, fishing, snowboarding and even sand boarding. This game has it all.
