| ~ Review - Jet Grind Radio ~ |
I can honestly say that Jet Grind Radio is a different kind of game. Generally, you have certain genres like Real time strategy, or RPG. Like Parappa the Rapper, and Um Jammer Lammy, Jet Grind Radio is drastically different than average games. Heres the story. You ' re a guy who is making a gang. You recruit other people, crush other gangs and avoid the cops. You spray paint areas to win territory. Best of all, there are lots of characters and you can create your own spray paints. This is definitely a good thing. The Graphics are a lot like Parappa the Rapper, in the sense it seems cartoony, but it's 3D. The graphics are never truly beautiful, but they aren't bad either. The sound is the heart of the game. Heck, it's even in the title, Jet Grind Radio. We have REAL artists here folks. From DJ Mastermike to Rob Zombie, the coolness never ends. There are tons of tracks, atleast over 14. I don't know the exact amount though. The controls? Let's just say this. Not bad, not good. Some where delightfully in between. You need to get used to them in order for you to really enjoy the game. It should only take about 20 minutes though to get acquainted. So is it worth the $50? Well it depends. Do you like to vandalize, and listen to really cool music? Then go buy it now! why are you still reading this? GO! GO!!!!! Richard Clark - Itaye |
