Hey..hey ..hey, it's time to take a ride with Crazy Taxi 2! Question is, is the ride worth it? Yes it is! Now Crazy taxi 2 is a good game though it doesn't quite live up to it's predecessor.
You have 3 new cabbies and the game takes place in my good ole hometown of New York city. The graphics are improved and the detail is amazing. You can honestly tell where you are in New York.

The gameplay is mostly the same with the exception of the addition of the Crazy Hop. The crazy hop is a nice feature allowing you the ability to hop over other cars and onto rooftops, which is a big bonus in racking in the cash. Also still the same is the mini games, though this time it's a pyramid which ranges from the extremely easy to the extremely difficult. As you complete each layer of the pyramid, you unlock the next tier, but the higher you go,the harder the stunts get.

Also a like the first game is the energy laden soundtrack, although this time around it consist of one band only. The offspring's vibrant music is always a nice fit for the game, but being the only kind of music in the game takes away from the experience and becomes repetitive.

All in all Crazy Taxi 2 is a good game and a fun ride. Though it may not live up to part 1, it's still worth checking out. Pick it up.
