Me And DJing...........
My first experience of DJing, was when I was nine years old and my brother Ray was a Organiser and DJ of Suburbia (U-18's Rave - St Helens) back in the old skool days. I started clubbin' at about the average UK age (15), @ a club called Blister's (dont ask me why it was called that, it just was!)) and the first big club hit i remember buying was 'Beachball',.
I then became involved in DJing again when i was 17,as a friend of mine was a DJ,and  it only took a few spins of the decks to get me addicted!!!! In July 1999 I bought my first CD Decks, (as i was on a small budget!!) and starting DJing @ Capercailize Club, Kinloss this was where i met Chris (DJ Lujin) .
I also ran a disco at the Kinloss Rugby Club, where someone heard one of my sets, and invited me to play at The Carlton Hotel, Forres and theats when my DJ career kicked off.

Aug 2001, i got together with Moray Leisure Centre's Mark Hopkirk (Ice Rink Manager) who told me that the once popular Ice Disco had seriously gone downhill and need a revamp, so I started my 'residency' at MLC and after 3 weeks of introducing the attendees to a event of  Trance and Hard House, mixed in with their Chart and Rock music, attendence figures rose from a dismal 10-20 to an amazing 120+, which in anyone's book is a good result!

Between the times of Cartlon Hotel and MLC, i decided that i wanted to try my hand at Radio Presenting, so i joined Wave Radio @ Dr Grays, Elgin. When i first started i was just covering for presenters when they were unavalible, but i soon progressed onto my own show (Wake Up On Sunday With Carl Kendrick), and this is where again i teamed up with Chris, to provide a fast and furious Sunday Morning show, which went down a storm with listeners, in the show we would play all genres of music from 60- 2000's and dance music.

After one or two good comments about our show we were moved onto the Saturday Night Slot (1900-2200) where we started introducing exclusive DJ only remixes into our shows and also holding our Quiz 'Pop Tart' with our weekly quizmaster Rob Kendrick (Yes....My Dad)

In Jan 2002 I Started working for North Scotlands premier Dico company, "Fat Willy's Dico's" I played at numerous venues and a whole range of music, also doing my first stint as a Karaoke DJ (which was funny, to say the least)

June 2002 I went solo!!! I started presenting on KCR 102.8 FM, Every Tuesday 8-9pm "Welsh Connection", a show full of action packed rubbish, top music and quality competition's (I should work in advertising!!!) Whilst at KCR i was offered the chance of sending a demo tape to Gary Robertson (Chairman of Moray Firth Radio - Scotlands number Radio Station1!!!) but i had to turn this down, because I was moving to Birmingham in Oct 2002..........

Oct 2002 I moved to Birmingham

Nov 2002  As
i couldn't hang around my house and do nothing, i went hunting for places to DJ, i spoke to a guy called Dave Weston, who knew "Friends of Friends" and after a few weeks I started DJing in a pub/club called Finnigans, which rocks! played mostly dance music, but they had theme nights which were cool, also they booked Judge Jules for next year, hoped I would  still be there then!

Jan 2003 HAPPY NEW YEAR
I went down to Essex to take a look at a Club called Jumping Jaks, it was pretty decent and i almost got myself a gig there, untill i got punched in the face!!! :) dont think i will be going back!!!

2003  Played at Finnigans untill late november, i had a great time there played sets with DJ's like DJ Rebekah, Mr Pink, JUDGE JULES, and many of his DJ's who are at Serious Management, also did a few gigs with Charlie's Disco

Jan 2004 HAPPY NEW YEAR Moving Down to Oxford on the 29th, should be a good Club scene down there, check back here to see what happens.
