1.
I use the
1992 edition of the rules (that seems less confuse than that of 2000).
2.
Press:
white (signed) and grey (anonymus) press can be attached to the orders. Black
press (in another’s name) is not accepted. Observers and eliminated players can
send press too.
3.
NMRs
(no move received):
a.
When a
player fails to send orders before the deadline, I will contact him/her. If
he/she doesn’t reply promtly, I’ll look for a replacement.
b.
When a
player NMRs twice in a row, he/she is also out.
c.
The
best way to prevent NMRs is to send PRELIMINARY ORDERS as soon as you get the
adjudication. You can change them as many times as needed, no problem. Prelims
are encouraged always.
4.
The
last received set of orders is the valid one (press included). All previous
sets have no validity whatsoever.
5.
The GM
will accept orders whose intentionality has no doubt even if they are not
perfectly written. But if there’s any doubt the order will be declared null.
6.
All
unordered units implictly hold (are not automatically disbanded if dislodged,
as Realpolitik does)
7.
Otherwise
Realpolitik rules (is
virtually perfect adjudicating) and I will adjudicate with it. I recommend
everybody to use it for gameplay as well.
8.
Orders
received after the deadline will be accepted if they arrive before I start
adjudicating, otherwise they are invalid.
9.
Appeals
should be made 24 hrs. after the adjudication is sent. I won’t accept appeals
after that minimal period.
10. The GM (moi) has the last say
11. Extensions will be granted
reasonably. Players are requested to notify their need as soon as possible. If
the extension is long and they feel they cantrust heir position to a temporary
replacement, that is an ideal and encouraged solution.
12. Normally I will try to schedule
games in the following manner (but I will adjust them if necessary):
a.
Deadline
for regular turns (Spring and Fall): on tuesdays
b.
Deadline
for retreats: ASAP (max. 48 hrs)
c.
Deadline
for builds ASAP (max. 48 hrs)
13. Draws: draws can only be agreed as
D.I.A.S. (draw include all survivors) and need confidential conformity for all
surviving players. Nevertheless I am a soloist
and therefore I don’t encourage draws.
While the
GM always has the last say, I will confidentially consider players opinions in
case of dispute and will use my best judgement in accordance to the official
rules, these house rules and the spirit of the game.
