How shall I begin?

If someone were to ask me to describe myself in three words, the word 'poet' would be among them. I veiw poetry as a form of art. I indulge in it, loose myself in it--it is a way to paint the picture I have in my head.

But before going on, dear Reader, I must explain something to you. Poetry, like art, can be abstract or direct. It can be subtle or overdramatic. A poem is something written to acheive an affect. The words of a poem are rarely ever my thoughts, though, yes, some are. Don't take what you read seriously. Sometimes I simply let the pen write on its own and I post what comes out of it.
