Maximum quantity of simultaneous displayable colors in a Web page. Applicable only to foreground of text or
background of a cell in a table.
For Internet Explorer 6 and 7: First 32,762 (256 [cells per row] x 128 [rows] - 6 [last cells in the last
row]). Not yet tested on Internet Explorer earlier than 6.
In Mozilla FireFox, maybe 16,777,216 (256 [cells per row] x 256 [rows per table] x 256 [tables]); however,
this was not tested and proven yet because displaying 16,777,216 colors simultaneous in a Web page will definitely take very much longer and it (Mozilla
FireFox) might take longer to respond and end up not responding. In this Web page, only the first
65,536 (256 [cells per row] x 256 [rows per table] x 1 [table]) colors will be displayed simultaneously to avoid
so much delay.
