Discard any
mussels that have opened before cooking.
Serves 2-3
Ingredients
1 lb (500g) Mussels, cleaned
½ cup /4 fl oz (125ml) Beer
2 tsp (10g) Garlic, minced
2 tsp (10g) Parsley, chopped
1 tsp (5g) Green onions, chopped
Method
Half fill a
medium sized saucepan with water.
Place the beer,
garlic, parsley and green onions in saucepan.
Bring to the
boil.
Add the mussels
and cover.
Cook until the
shells begin to open (about 2-3 minutes).
Serve warm.
