INTERMEDIATE HIKES

An intermediate hike lasts 6-8 hours and may involve some site danger. Children on these hikes should be at least 13 years old. Clients should have previous hiking experience and dress appropriately. They should pack a lunch and carry rain gear and a water bottle. Trails are chosen for their access to remote areas, glaciers and alpine meadows.

ADVANCED HIKES

An advanced hike lasts 8-14 hours or may extend several days. Site danger and prolonged exposure to the elements should be expected. No technical climbing will be involved and ropes will not be used. Clients should have considerable hiking experience and understand the requirements of travel through dense bush and above tree line. On multi-day hikes clients will carry their own food, sleeping gear, and tent. These hikes are not advertised and not shown on local maps. A pre-trip interview is required with the guide.
