Your computer managers are due to your opponents, plus the commissioner by Wednesday, November 5th. If you need assistance, ask for it now, ahead of the deadline and I'm sure there will be somebody willing to give you hand. Any trades made during the bi-week will go into effect the following week. Install your SOMH game and the 2002-03 NHL player data 2. Download the league file 2a. World League - http://groups.yahoo.com/group/WSHLWL/files 2b. North American League - http://groups.yahoo.com/group/WSHLNAL/files 3. Unzip the files into your SOMH/DATA folder, overwriting if necessary. 4. Start SOMH 5. Create a computer manager and export it. 6. Zip the exported computer manager(s) and send them to your opponents 7. Save/import your opponent's computer managers and play your games. 8. Save your home boxscores and export files. 9. Q: Is there something special I need to know about constructing a computer manager? A: These are detailed in the Constitution, see the "League Play" section. But for your convience, here are some of the important facts you should know: - 18 skaters, minimum 12 forwards, 5 deffensemen, two goaltenders - Rotate four forward and three defensivve lines each period. - Each period one defenseman may double shift, must be a different player each period, i.e. Bourque can't double shift in the 1st and 3rd. - In the 3rd period, one foward may doubble shift. - Overtime, 3 lines forwards/defense, wiith one forward and one defenseman allowed to double shift. Remember that we skate 4 on 4 in OT. - Special Teams, two standard lines eachh (5 on 4, 4 on 5). A player may only play on one standard line. Bourque can't play on both shorthanded lines. - Power play point men (POINT *, or POINNT **) can replace ONE defenseman on the power play. You must still have one defenseman on the ice during your power play. - Out of position centers, may play on tthe wing during penalty killing and overtime/4 on 4 situations. - Out of position defensemen, may only pplay non-carded defensive position during the power play. They must play their position during even strength and shorthanded situations. - Goaltender Fatigue isn't used during tthe regular season. Just be sure to track your games played. You don't want to be penalized for overusage!
