This was taken in May 04. Occasionally, I'll see balloons landing in the distance in the back yard. I've had them go right over the house. Luckily, the dogs are not bothered by them. You can see a lot more about hot air balloons on my Balloons page.
I recently took this picture (November 05) to show how fast Rio Rancho is growing. It is the 3rd largest city in New Mexico. It will soon be pass Santa Fe and become the 2nd largest city. I'm glad there's an arroyo behind my property so I'll maintain some privacy. The bad news is in about 5 years Rio Rancho will be building the Town Centre about 2 miles behind those houses. You can already see the construction for the new Events Center going on in the distance to the right of the house labeled La Paloma.
