The New Holy Bible
In the beginning, there was no God. The one thing that will solve most of our problems in this world is the abolishion of fanaticism in religion. Religion should be taken lightly, like Santa Claus. A belief that sparks curiosity and explains some things. By no means should anyone draw strength from something that is totally made up, because ask a phsycologist, it is clinical insanity. Religion should only be used as a joining force for people to join together for strength. I say this not because I'm hateful but because I am a humanist, I want to see people get their strength from each other and themselves. This makes for a much more independent people. It will allow less of the weak fanticists who claim that resorting to cowardly violence on innocents is for thier religion when it is in fact a cover for thier fear of something they don't understand and can never have, causing them to make attacks that are bigger than they are. Religion on the fanticist level has all to often been used as a facade to justify violence. I could go on for hours with examples of this but, that will take hours.
You now may ask, "what is too far?", well I say it is when a person holds something over themselves. Holds something over the will of themselves and others. Believe that they "owe" something to someone and it needs to be rectified but never will because they are born scum. I find it ironic that some of those who believe whites should not pay slave reparations are the same ones who believe this ludacrisy (I do not believe whites should pay reparations :-)).  Once this immediate degrading of human existance occurs, there is no hope only constant guilt. It is this guilt that mostly accounts for the insane "banging of the head against the wall" and the ensuing lack of inner strength that drives this perpetual religion machine. The circumstances become a vicious circle, one asks for forgiveness and never gets it, one feels guilt and throws themselves to the tyranny of the church with the masturbatory glee of the clergy, one starts to rely on the "big mother church" and religion to shelter them from troubles and finally one becomes weaker and less able to break away. For those of you locked into this, I tell you, living guilt free and stronger than your religion will ever be is FUN! WOW!
I have never belonged to a church. But I went in one once or twice and I felt something terrible. Honest to God (ha ha) I felt such a large amount of falseness (would use bullsh**t) I felt sick. I couldn't believe how so many people pretend how things work. It's shocking how many people live in this fantasy world and some even run our country! The truth is that civilization has simply outgrown religion. It's first viable uses was to unite people, then to pull thw world out of the dark ages. Religion got its last wind while explaining the unexplainable occurances in the world and beyond it. Now, religion is hanging on by a thread, most things are coherently and soundly explained by science. The aging religion can be seen causing tensions in the religiously divided middle east. Thankfully more and more people are choosing not to join a religion or follow it very closely. Now one can see that society at the individual level are finally acting as a control to censure religious growth or decline. If the end of the world as we know it comes, religion will be waiting on the other side of the destruction. I will have more to come.......
