| The Divine Conspiracy | ||||||||||||||||||
| by Dallas Willard | ||||||||||||||||||
| A wonderful religious text covering most of the topics of a systematic theology, but in very practical terms. I would highly recommend this book for anyone interested in Christianity as a genuine spiritual experience. | ||||||||||||||||||
| The Chestry Oak | ||||||||||||||||||
| by Kate Seredy | ||||||||||||||||||
| Have been reading it yet again, although I have read it many times in the past. A classic story that never grows old. | ||||||||||||||||||
| Avoiding Mr. Wrong | ||||||||||||||||||
| by Stephen Arterburn | ||||||||||||||||||
| So it is a book written for women, so what? An insightful look at the kinds of men who are abusive and the types of women who are attracted to them. Also gives some good insight on steps toward encouraging some of the "Mr. Wrong"s to become "Mr. Right." If you are secure enough in your masculinity, a great read for any guy who is interested in growing and maturing. An excellent resource for any woman, especially those who find themselves stuck with "Mr. Wrong" all the time. | ||||||||||||||||||
| The Next Generation Leader | ||||||||||||||||||
| by Andy Stanley | ||||||||||||||||||
| I got to hear him present this info at the Catalyst Leadership Conference last year. Excellent book, clearly presented, and insightfully truthful. A helpful book for everyone in a volunteer organization as well as in the business world, Stanley's booklists five essential characteristics for those who would like to take an active part in shaping the future through dynamic leadership. | ||||||||||||||||||
