| Third time's the charm for the Dark Muffins! We decided to do AMAcon at the last minute (read, the week before), and threw together a spoof cosplay. We've all got Bloodlust on the brain, especially Rose, the "D no Miko," so we thought a spoof of the new D would be fun. We also brought in characters from various other anime we like, to make it more funny. THe basic premise was Charlotte lip-synching "Right Kind of Wrong" from the Coyote Ugly soundtrack to Meier, and getting distracted repeatedly. Meier wasn't too pleased with this, and made sure her attention was focused on him by some very drastic measures. Four "deaths" and a disgruntled Charlotte later, we had a best in show trophy. AMAcon was tons of fun, and the other skits were really good, especially the "Cosplayers Anonymous" one. Interpretive dance by Kaworu Nagisa? It was great! |

| Poor Shinobu is already dead by this point. Sailor Uranus, intrigued by the haunting vocals of Charlotte, is delighted to find her as pretty as her voice. She attempts to seduce the girl, which Meier isn't thrilled with. "Hello, I'm over here! Charlotte? Charlotte! Ooh, she's going down." Meier quickly dispatches Uranus in the same way as Kyo and Shinobu-chan. |

| Charlotte spies D and is frightened. She sends Meier to take care of him. D and Meier flirt, and then decide to "get it on" without Charlotte finding out. She may be naive, but she's not stupid, boys. |

| Charlotte catches D and Meier in the act, and reveals her mic to be a stake. She kills D, Meier laughing while he watches, then rounds on her lover, raising the stake just as the song ends. Will Meier survive? |

At least he didn't have to wear the 6-inch platform stiletto heeled boots for this cosplay. Rose hand-sewed both these costumes herself, I believe. They look quite authentic. |

However, during a recent brainstorming session, she vehemently declared, "I will NOT BE CHIBI MOON!! NO CHIBI MOON!" I think it's time to give someone else a turn at the genki, and let her play someone more angsty. Patrick? |

| Me again as Sailor Uranus. The fuku is unfortunately bought, and I got ripped off too. Sixty bucks, and the thing is very shoddily put together. I had to reinforce the stitches with upholstery fabric, plus take about six inches off the skirt. I'm planning on buying a leotard and culling this thing for trim to add to it. The choker came from some of the excess skirt. My hands are behind my back because I took off my gloves. The white fabric was so thin that the fingers have holes in them now. I'm gonna have to make new ones before Otakon. |
