| E. Julius Redman and Anna Pauline Moldenhauer |
| E. Julius Redman was born 12 Aug 1843, Feisk, Germany, to Frederick Augustus Redman and unknown. He married circa 1872, in Germany to Anna Pauline Moldenhauer who was born 13 Aug 1843, Province Roseue, Germany and died 15 Nov 1922, Rowena, Runnels Co., Texas with burial in Protestant Cemetery, Rowena, Runnels Co., Texas. E. Julius died 24 May 1918, Rowena, Runnels Co., Texas with burial in Protestant Cemetery, Rowena, Runnels Co., Texas. Stories told by their eldest son indicates Julius & Pauline were possibly very poor in Germany and probably the reason for their immigration to the United States. Julius worked as a cook for their passage to Galveston on a merchant ship. Their eldest son, William Fritz was 6 months old when the family left Germany (Jan 1874). Pauline suffered from seasickness. During the passage a storm resulted in the lose of the mast which was chopped up and allowed to fall into the sea. This prolonged their journey and their eldest son, William Fritz who was 6 months old when the family left German in circa January 1874, began walking while they were onboard. Alvin Redman's impression from his Grandpa Julius was that he and Pauline left without telling their families. Pauline was short and plump while Julius was 5' 11", slim with a fair complexion and lots of hair. After arriving in the U.S. they resided in Washington County, Montgomery County, Bosque County, Williamson County; while in Bosque County they lived in Clifton, Chase, and Womack where a son died and is buried. The family settled in Rowena, Runnels Co., Texas circa 1904 possibly by immigrant train. 1880 District 11, Precinct 6, Washington Co., TX Pg 281B Sulin REDMAN Self M Male W 38 PRUSSIA Farmer PRU PRU Pauline REDMAN Wife M Female W 37 PRUSSIA KpgHouse PRU PRU Frederich W.
