SNARE DRUMS ~ II
Gretsch Floor Show model, 6.5 x 14 Gold Glass Glitter. 1960s. Sold this baby to a drummer in D.C. in 2001. Those original glitter wraps are gorgeous, aren't they?
Gretsch, 6 x 14 Oriental Harlequin finish, 1955. I had an auto restoration guy restore the lustre of this drum; high gloss finish. The original paint was checking badly. Non-original hoops, the stick-choppers were shot. I miss this one, sold it in 2001.
Tempus, 4 x 14, 2002 Brilliant Gunmetal finish. Very nice snare. If I ever get a Tempus kit, it'll be in this finish. Paul Mason does great work!
Camco, Tuxedo, model, 5.5 x 14. Gold sparkle, white interior. Beautiful drum and very punchy. I tuned it high and the result was a Cubana-esque tone. Sold this one in 2001.
