Kevin Kessler: Thank you everyone who has attended this press conference. I would just like to begin this conference by saying that everyone at Kessler Brothers' Pictures is shocked and sadened at what happened to Back to the Present. We had plans for a release of this movie as our first KB DVD and I want to announce publically that we are not expecting a delay in the release of this video. Okay, the floor is open to questioning.

News Reporter #1: I was just wondering what your plans are for the editing of this film. If my notes serve me correct, you have just more than a month to get everything completed.

Kevin Kesser: Thank you for bringing that topic up. The first draft of Back to the Future was created with a March 1st deadline in mind. The idea for the movie didn't come to us until the sixth of February. We had less than a month in order to write the script, film the movie, and edit the movie and we got it completed. We have all of the original footage from Back to the Present and we already have a script written. We are going to dedicate the next month to special effects and a better cut of the movie. We cannot look back and mourn, we must look ahead and make the best of the situation. We have rehired the orginial editor of the movie and together, along with me, we are going to make a director's cut that the old version could only dream about. Next?

News Reporter #2: Mr. Kessler, I see that you had plans for a sequel to your Christmas Chaos, what is the verdict on this film?

Kevin Kessler: Chaos was going to be a great movie, or should I say is going to be a great movie. We must wait, however, in order to make this video. Production on this video is going to be delayed. All that I can tell you right now is that we have not decided if we are going to see a whole new cast and film over the summer or wait until fall to begin filming. It is looking, however, that a new cast might be in talks that can film over the summer.

News Reporter #3: So Peyton Grant will not be in the next Chaos? Do you really think the public will accepct a whole new cast for this follow-up movie?

Kevin Kessler: I did not come to coment on the future of Chaos and so this will be the final question I will accept on the topic. As I just said, we do not know what the future of Chaos is going to be. If it ends up that Peyton Grant does not play Mark Greasworld, then someone else will. The main worry right now is about the release of Back to the Present on time.

News Reporter #4: This question is related to Back to the Present. When you first started advertising about Back to the Present: Special Edition you spoke of trailers, deleted scenes, director's commentary, how has this changed?

Kevin Kessler: Nothing has changed in that regard. We are going to try and get the stars of the movie to do the commentary the for this second draft, but we are not looking at DVD purchasers to be dissapointed. The scene made specifically for the DVD is the only feature in question. We can gaurantee that there will be some new sequence. There is time for one final question.

News Reporter #5: Can the viewer expect any major changes from the original version of the movie?

Kevin Kessler: I can almost gaurantee that there are going to be differences between the two films, but will the viewers know? Only a handful of people saw the first version of the move completed. This is going to be the Director's Cut of the movie and I think that the way the movie is presented is going to be different, but hopefully better. Actually, we are going to begin editing the video this afternoon. Do not worry, you will not be dissapointed. Thank you for coming to this Press Conference. I'm sorry, but there is not any time for any more questions. If you have anymore questions, e-mail me and I will try to respond to them. Thank you.

END OF PRESS CONFERENCE.

Kevin Kessler is the director of Back to the Present and he called this press conference in order to report on the recent events at Kessler Brothers' Studios.

Kevin Kessler: Hello, thank you for coming once again to Kessler Brothers' Studios. Yesterday we reported about the disater of Back to the Present and I just wanted to releave some minds. Since I met with you yesterday, I have been working with our old editor on the reediting of the film and we have already completed have of the movie. Some of what is in the movie is the same, while there have been changes, for the better, in the editing of this movie. The special effects in the movie are good and I am proud to say we are a week ahead of schedule. We are still going to work until early May in making the movie better, but the early draft of the film should be completed by the end of this week. We are going to get back together with Carlisle and refilm and film some scenes that we never would have gotten the chance to do before. The original scenes will be found on the DVD under deleted scenes. Okay, the floor is open to any questions.

Reporter #6: When the original Back to the Present was going to be released, you promoted that only the DVD would contain the special digital effects. What is your comment on this?

Kevin Kessler: Thank you for bringing up this point. Yes, when Back to the Present was originally released we did say that the special effects would be found only on the DVD version. It is my personal opinion that if you are willing to spend a little more, you will get a little more. However, when I was reediting this video it came to me that not everyone has the ability to watch DVDs. The special effects are going to be on both the VHS and DVD release of the video, but the VHS will no longer have the "gag reel" or "trailer" attached to it. This is not a discrimination, its a buisness.

Reporter #2: Mr. Kessler, you spoke of new scenes in the movie, can you tell us anything about this?

Kevin Kessler: Come on! You don't want to spoil the surprise do you? All I can tell you is that one of the scenes we will be filming will be a retake of a scene that never quite lived up to my expectations during the original version and then a new opening for the movie which helps the movie make more sense.

Reporter #1: Hello. With the quick completion of Back to the Present do you think that Chaos might be filmed?

Kevin Kessler: I spoke yesterday that I did not call these press conferences to discuss Chaos. This is the only question I will answer today on the subject. The filming of Chaos is no longer being delayed for production reasons, but for moral reasons. I cannot go in to much detail, but after an inspection of the actors and actresses, I have learned that changes in casting are in order. Until I can find this cast, then yes, the production is going to be delayed. But Chaos cannot be controlled and we will find a way to make it. Hopefully the movie will be out for a summer 2003 release or earlier, but we'll just have to wait and see. We know that whenver we begin this project, it will be a lot to film and we are not going to rush through it. Production has already begun on Chaos from a digital editing standpoint and we do not want this time and effort to go to waste. What we are going to do with the footage is the question right now. All we have completed is the title sequence and I do not know what we would do with just this footage.

Reporter #7: I know that this is a very touchy subject, but is Kessler Brothers' Pictures going out of business?

Kevin Kessler: Clarify your question please.

Reporter #7: In the last few days, you have shelved many projects that you were planning on creating. Case in point Anthology: A Look Back, Chaos what is your opinion on what is happening?

Kevin Kessler: Your right. We have had a struggle to complete these projects, but we are not going out of business. If you would like to know the reasons I will tell you. Now I still plan completly for a release of all our old works, but after the Back to the Present tradgety, that has been our dedication. Looking over all the old videos, however, the quality is very poor and I do not know how well the data will look after transfer. We are working on the problem, but a May 13th release is just not logical. I have already explained the Chaos problem to you. I do not want to sound like a chairty, but we do not have the money to complete everything that we need completed. We are also very short on cast and that makes filming these movies hard. We can usually release about two movies a year, but that isn't good enough. If anyone is interested in trying out for Chaos your audtion is welcome. We are looking for four main actors and actresses. If you are interested you can contact me by email at <[email protected]>. Kessler Brothers' Pictures isn't ending, it's just beginning. We founded Kessler Brothers' Pictures in 1996, but we did not make our first video until 2000. So we have only been filming movies for a short time. The best is yet to come.

Monday, May 20th, 2002, at 12:00 p.m.

Kevin Kessler, director of "Back to the Present" is reporting live on Kessler Brothers' Pictures' 2003 Priority List.

Kevin Kessler: Hello and thank you for coming today to our press conference. It is an exciting month here for Kessler Brothers' Pictures. We have officially released our first KB DVD and we have had many new video opportunities. The three movies that we are making first priority are: "Back to the Present: Part II" "Back to the Present: Part III" "Mission: Impractical" and "Escape from Atlantis." Each of these movies are going to be ground breaking for Kessler Brothers' Pictures. "Back to the Present: Part III" is not going to be realeased until Spring 2004, but we must finished the live actiong filming this year. "Back to the Present: Part II" and "Escape from Atlantis" and "Mission:Impractical" are all going to be ground breakers in Special Effects in our movies. We are aware that each movie is going to take many months in post-production in order to complete all the necessary effects and make the stories possible to film. Okay, any questions?

Reporter #1: Yes, I have a question. You say many months on each movie, can you please clarify?

Kevin Kessler: I will do my best without having to give away any secrets. The story lines in each of these movies are much more demanding than we can create with our current budgets. About 1/2 of "Back to the Present Part II" and nearly all of "Escape from Atlantis" will be filmed in front of a blue screen with digitally added backgrounds. "Mission: Impractical" is going to involve many special effects, but should not require as much blue-screen. Did I answer your question?

Reporter #2: Mr. Kessler, do you really find these goals obtainable?

Kevin Kessler: Of course not! We have never sought out to create movies this complex before. We know that the only way these movies could be completed is through the use of Special Effects. So we are going to push hard spending many hours a day working on each movie. I have time for one more question.

Reporter #3: Mr. Kessler, do you have a time frame on the production of these movies?

Kevin Kessler: I do, but its a long way until fall. Over the summer, I am going to work on completing the three scripts and hopefully begin filming "Back to the Present: Parts II and III" sometime in the fall. After I complete these projects I will begin filming "Escape from Atlantis." After the completion of the filming, I will begin editing "Back to the Present: Part II" and "Escape from Atlantis." Both of these movies should be ready for a Summer 2003 opening. "Mission: Impractical" will be a 5 minute special-effects short featuring Brad Kessler. This movie will open either "Back to the Present: Part II" or "Escape from Atlantis." This will be filmed over Christmas. Thank you all for coming and have a safe trip home.
