| September 9, 2005: Two months after completing the first draft, Kevin Kessler turned in a final version of the script. A few techincal changes have been made, with Brian Solmon now serving as director of the picture and Kevin Kessler serving as producer. Kessler comments, "I wish I could be down there to help film every weekend in order to preserve my vision for the script when I wrote it, but that is just not logistical at this point. I am going to be working closely with Brian Solmon before shooting begins explaning my vision of the script, although I expect him to put his own vision into this script also. I feel that Brian is very capable of handeling this project, although I will not be hands off by any means. I will be on hand to help with the major sequences of the film, and I plan on playing a big role in the post-production of the film." The working title of this picture is still slated as "College: The First Year" although both Brian Solmon and Kevin Kessler have said this title will be changed before release.
