| Amanda and Ashley: How long have you been in British Export? Jim 'Ringo' Martin: I joined British Export back in 1994 when it was called British Import. Paul 'Paul' Lynch joined in 1998. He later indtroduced Frank 'John' Canino to the band in 1999. A&A: What is your favorite Beatle song? JM: Currently my favorite Beatle song is 'The Word.' A&A: Who is your favorite Beatle? JM: C'mon... A&A: Ringo? JM: Yes. A&A: How do you respond to crazy fans? JM: I respond to crazy Beatle fans like I respond... A&A: To us? JM: Crazy, I think. A&A: What do you call your hairstyle? JM: Aurthur. Sadly, mine is the last real mop top. Everyone cut their hair and uses wigs. *sigh* A&A: What are your favorite movies? JM: Casablanca, North by NorthWest, Jurassic Park, Frankenstein, Animal House, and A Hard Day's Night. A&A: What is your idea of the perfect date? JM: The perfect date is dressing up fancy. Nice dinner, slow walk along the ocean, back at the hotel for a slow dance on the balcony. Sinatra playing with a view of a sunset and a city. Old fashion, sorry. A&A: What do you look for in a girl? JM: Silly, romantic, fun fun fun, immature and 'censored'. A&A: What is your favorite Beatle album? JM: Right now I like the White Album. A&A: If you could be a tree, what sort of tree would you be? JM: An oak I guess, because they are scary when they're naked. A&A: What is your Birthday? JM: March 21st A&A: Have you ever written your own music? JM: I wrote a few songs, but they kinda suck. Paul is better at it. A&A: Do you and the real Ringo have share any similar personality traits? JM: Maybe demeanor. But I do like to get up and be the star once and a while. A&A: What kind of underwear do you wear? Boxers? Briefs? None? JM: Underwear? You guys wear me out! Briefs when I have pants on. Boxers when that is all I'm wearing, and then they are something unusual. A&A: Ummm...like Scooby Doo? JM: I don't want to go there. A&A: How often do you practice for the band? JM: I almost never practice on my own. I should every day. A&A: What is your favorite Beatle period to recreate? JM: The Ed Sullivan period. A&A: How did you find America? JM: Turn left at Greenland. A&A: Do you have any hobbies? JM: Oil paint portraits, build monster models and, collect toys from the 60's. A&A: What do you think of your number one fans A&A?
