Q and A With Paul

Paul 'Paul' Lynch: Guess what?
Ashley and Amanda: What?
P.L.: MOO!
A&A: Nice...*laughs*...Right, ok, when did you join British Export?
P.L.: I joined BE in 1998. I believe I was 18 just about to turn 19.
A&A: What made you choose that as a career?
P.L.: I love The Beatles! I'm a Bass player first and foremost so I thought it was somethink I could be good at!
A&A: Have you been a Beatle fan your whole life?
P.L.: Yes. My dad played Beatle music in his band when he was young, so I knew right away as a youngster that something was special about those four guys!
A&A: What is your favorite Beatle album?
P.L.: Questionably...'A Hard Day's Night.'
A&A: What do you expect to find in Australia?
P.L.: I think it would be nice to meet a kangaroo and ask him about boxing and what not.
A&A: How many geese are in a gaggle?
P.L.: Well, one, isn't it? How many Pripisichs' does it take to change a light bulb?
A&A: *laughs* What personality traits would you say you share with the real Paul?
P.L.: I am respectful and ambitious. I try to make everyone happy, while still getting attention for myself. I like to sing the 'sweet' stuff and I'm not interested in art that sucks...like 'Two Virgins'. I am diplomatic and I try to be charming for the audience whenever possible.
A&A: What is your idea of a perfect date?
P.L.: Really?
A&A: Really.
P.L.: Well...I would like it to start early and be a day time thing. We could go to the beach, or maybe walking some place and look for something fun to do, like eat somewhere cool. Then I would love to see a show...no BS movie, but a REAL show. Like a great band or an orchestra....I like to dance a little if it is to good music. Then a nice, but quiet dinner, Italian most likely, and then a 'night time' place to walk and talk. Maybe I could sing for her, yes, that would so melt her! That's the way I like it!
A&A: How close are you with the other members of BE?
P.L.: I love them all equally for different ways. We argue a lot so I guess we are like brothers.
A&A: What are your favorite movies?
P.L.(The Beave): Easy...'Back To The Future', 'Indiana Jones' (any of them), 'Immortal Beloved', 'Planes, Trains, and Automobiles,' 'Give My Regards to Broad Street.'
A&A: What song is the most fun to sing?
The Beave: I love, with out a doubt, 'Got To Get You Into My Life.' It is the best pop song ever written!
A&A: Favorite British Export moment?
P.L.: Definately winning Beatlefest 'Battle of the Beatle-bands' in New York City, and then celebrating with the 'Frightenend Crow'. (A dance we made up)
A&A: If you were stranded on a desert Is. and you could only bring 3 books, what would they be?
P.L.: Spirit Of Shaolin, by David Carradine, The Bible, and The Beatles Anthology.
A&A: Would you rather be really hot, or really cold?
Moo: Well, I would have to go with hot because cold can be bad for a multitude of reasons (socially and other wise) besides, cold kills faster.
A&A: What do you do in your spare time?
P.L.: I eat paper, and cook pens. But I really like seeing other musicians. Billy Joel YAY!
A&A: Are you going to go see Paul McCartney?
P.L.: I am. HOW COULD I NOT!?
A&A: Who is your favorite Monty Python member?
P.L.: Eric Idle!  Dirk McUiggly from the Ruttles!
A&A: Do you enjoy the band Cream?
Dirk: I do! Especially with the song 'Savory Truffle.'
A&A: Do you have a favorite Simpsons episode?
P.L.: Um...wow I have to think about that... Maybe the one with Paul and Linda McCartney? Naw, except for him and Linda it's a little lame...I will get back to you.
