Getting out of the Shire.
From Hobbiton to Bywater- BE CAREFUL do not put on the ring. From Sams house wait until the Wraith has rode past, run across the path and jump over the field wall. Head towards Sandymans mill, wait until the second wraith has gone past, and run to the mill. THERE IS A WRAITH ON THE BRIDGE. go to the back of Sandymans mill, throw stones to distract the wraith, when the time is right make a run for it across the bridge.
Saving is Vital.
Your safe until you get past Bywater, take the river and follow it until you get to the big rock, hide here. There is a Wraith.
Throw stones to distract its attention, when it is out of the way once again make a run for it across the bridge.
You are now very near farmer Maggots house. Your safe until you get to the old forest.
The old forest to Old Man Willow.
Once you have entered the old forest You as FRodo realise that you are on your own. Merry, Pippin and Sam have gone missing. The forrest changes so it is immpossible to remember the way to find them.
Spiders- You can kill these with your stick.
Old Man Willow- After the tree has eaten Merry and Pippin it comes up on the bottom of the screen 'Throw stones' DONT DO THIS. Stand back, not too far but close enough to hit the trees hands with your stick. after between about 3-8 hits Tom Bombadil will turn up, he sets the 2 Hobbits free and you follow him.
Going to the Barrow Downs.
After the other 3 Hobbits have been taken by the Barrow wights, you will find yourself in the main Barrow Down. DO NOT ATTACK THE WIGHT WITH YOUR STICK. Climb up the stack in the corner and retrieve the Westerness Dagger, Within 3-8 hits Tom will appear again. (you do have to listen to Frodo and Tom sing!)
Bree- You do get attacked by a few heathens in Bree, But you are ARAGORN.
A Knife in the dark.
it may seem impossible but the Wraiths can be beaten, just attack, attack and attack. once they have gone you are left to defend the 4 Hobbits especially the wounded Frodo.
Troll Shores, You will get attacked by orc's and trolls on this road, but to get to Rivendell you have to take this evil road.
At the End of the Shores you are greeted by at last a friendly face (but for film fans, not who you migt expect, but who Tolkien intended to rescue Frodo.
At last you are in Rivendell.
As Gandalf the mountain Caradharas has defeated you and you have to find the entrance to the dreaded Mines of Moria (Tombs)
The watcher in the water.
As Aragorn you must protrct Gandalf as he tries to open the doors. Shoot (with your bow)at the watchers tentacles.
Moria.
Fight your way through the minesw until you reach Khazad-Dum.
The Balrog.
Increase your mana, and health, make sure that you have lightning as your power.
STUN and SLASH
once the beast is stunned strike it as many times as you can with Glamdring, then immediately back away.
after about the 3rd stunning the Balrog begins to get clever it will duck before you stun it you have to be twice as clever anhd work out when it will get up.
IGNORE ARAGORN
if you are low on health keep going back across the bridge (once youv'e stunned it, regain you health and then try again.
EVERY TIME YOU CROSS THE BRIDGE SAVE YOUR GAME.
