Here is where I'll rant about music! Yes 100% completely biased!
I can be described in many ways... (no not an addict - the olny things I am addicted to are Rock and Caffiene!) But this is the best:
Favorite Genre: Alternative Metal
Ok I have to... Dislike rant: Ok not quite a rant... 2 major things.
I don't like whiney vocals *cough*New Found Glory*cough* etc. I also dont like when I cant understand the lyrics...
Favorite Band: Audioslave
Favorite Album: Collective Soul - Youth
Favorite Track: Audioslave - Out Of Exile
Favorite New Thing(2k5 Release): Shinedown - Us And Them
Top Ten Bands & why(olny my opinion):
Audioslave - Raw untamed riffs, euphoric vocals, steady straight forward bass.
Shinedown Thier new CD KICKS ASS!!
Nickleback, Nickleback rocks, period.
Collective soul Great wordplay in their lyrics.
Disturbed Loud, heavy, distorted guitars, fast paced, but when they slow down the lead singer really shines, after all the screamin (mind you its good screamin) he can throw down some good 'ol singin
Lostprophets Lostprophets has it all, guitars, drums keyboard, and more, but they really shine in tracks like Last Summer and A Million Miles.
Cold Scooter's vocals paired with these powerful alt metal guitars is nearly perfect.
Crossfade These guys ROCK, hands down no questions asked.
Staind Staind plays reliable alt metal. Tracks like: Right Here, Everything Changes, and Fray say it all.Breaking Benjamin The lead singer has an amazing voice unlike anyone Ive ever heard, and they don't hold back on the good 'ol distortion pedal.
