oh what a book this was! it was great! i loved the characters soo much. the book is about a girl who goes to live with her dad and his new wife and her kids. she finds the family [wife and kids] a bit strange. she tries unlock a secret about the family before they take her father away. i know i can't explain the book to well but it's one of those books you don't want to end. i even ... well started crying...i know its stupid but when it ended i wanted to know more and more and what happened to the characters.

aww..another book that i didn't want to end. the story takes place in richmond during the civil war. it has romance, laughter, tears, and betrayel. this is actually a book we had to read for class. these characters are ones you will never want to forget.
